If I made a giveaway will I get the numer of ratings I want?

So I made a don't starve mod and was thinking of making a giveaway to increase the mod ratings, so if I made the giveaway will I get a good number?

Most people won't even read the description to know about your Workshop item. Many of those who do won't handout upvotes for it considering they wouldn't have played it.

Just accept that your item will get the votes it deserves with time.

Well, that won't really work, as already said. Create a giveaway to show love to this community, not to whore undeserved votes from what few people read the description and upvote something they haven't used.

I think it's totally fine if you create a giveaway and ask people to check out your mod if they're interested as long as you don't beg for votes. That's pretty much the whole point of advertising so I see nothing wrong with that.

No.Just give us mod link and we'll review it, if it's good we'll upvote it.Don't beg for votes by creating giveaways like greenlight guys do.

If you want to make a giveaway just do it but don't ask for votes.
