It's a monthly service so I believe you need a bank account. You can use paypal.

You can either pay using card, or checkout using paypal.

If you have paypal balance or money in your bank account linked to paypal account, sure.

He is asking if he can use paypal without bank/cc linked to it to subscribe HB. If he has paypal balance, he can. Unless HB does check and manually confirm order if paid via non verified paypal but payment should go through.

He is asking if he can sub to HB monthly without a cc or a linked bank account and you answer that he can if he has a bank account linked to paypal.

You can always transfer money to your PayPal acc or use a paysafe card, no need to link afaik.

I tried subbing the HB monthly and they wouldn't let me check out with Paypal because I have no CC or bank account linked to it.

but you can if you have money on paypal, even if nothing is linked to it. I have never linked any card or bank account to paypal and i use it for the monthly without any problem.

I am not sure, but logically they need a source to fund the automatic charging, so a back account of a CC should be linked to paypal for a re-occurring charge.

That is my thought as well. One time payments would be fine, but I'd venture a guess that PayPal would prevent the recurring payments without some funding source in place. Chances are this would be a PayPal policy and not a Humble Bundle one.

You can't recur payment if you don't have a verified paypal account, it won't work.

I do not know the answer to this question, but I do know that you can unsubscribe and resubscribe at any time and paying manually each month is an option instead ....also they recently let you pay for multiple months in one larger payment now (saving a small amount too).

I'd be tempted to check that out if I weren't more tempted to cancel the service... thanks for that regardless, because if I do opt to stay on I'm going to take advantage of that and I did not know it was an option.
