Buyer beware: Lots of people can't play the game due to constant crashes, and even though it's a remake of a lightgun game it doesn't actually support lightguns.
If you get the chance though; definitely play the arcade original, it was a fun game :)

The game does have some strange problems from time to time, for example, for me it only starts for the second time every day. The first time it always freezes on something, either loading the main menu or loading a level. But then it works, and then it's fun.

I heard the Switch version is the best because of the joycons working like lightguns there

Legit question, has any PC port of a lightgun game actually supported lightguns? From what I can remember they always used the mouse instead.

The game has a bit of strange behavior that I didn't understand right away, but later everything fell into place. The game when you first launch it does it very strangely - it seems that it freezes, then the sound starts working, but nothing happens on the screen... Later it seems that the menu has frozen, so you immediately want to turn it off, reboot. But in fact the game just loads for a very long time, you just need to give it enough time, and everything will go.
You need to understand that in the game has achievements "find all weapons", "meet all monsters", "go through all the forks" i.e. I saw absolutely everything in this game, and it never froze, never dropped FPS, nothing, the game just works. To be honest, I was even a little surprised that on Unity you can do this.
Of course it's not AAA, I'm not urging everyone to buy it, plus everything is individual and depends on the system configuration too, but the game doesn't deserve all that unreasonable hate, and half of the problems are far-fetched, and let's be honest, they ask for very little money for it.

well, i think you were lucky, someone tried to stream it to me and it crashed every time for 1 hour trying to get it to work... i guess it's time to blame microsoft

This game's been broken for years and never fixed. The developers don't even care. I was able to play it at launch and beat it a few times. Then they patched it and it just crashes without ever getting to the title screen. No solutions work from the forums or google. You hear the music at the main menu and then it just crashes.
I would imagine the sequel is broken too as they never cared enough to patch the problem with the first game crashing, so I wouldn't buy that one either. It's a shame that you have to use other means to actually play these great games on PC.
