Wanting to buy and giveaway Deus Ex Human Revolution, but want to ask something first

~ 1. I'm in Hong Kong, so I bought the Chinese version(of the box, the game itself is in English), and redeemed the code on steam.

When I print out the receipt, and it's saying (WorldWide)

So, is it okay that I make a Deus Ex Human Revolution Giveaway?

~ 2. Is it ok that I create a private giveaway and use adf.ly?

P.S. I will never use servey bullshit (e.g. fileice, sharecash)

  1. yes it is ok to make the giveaway. If it says ROW (rest of world) it is fine (maybe not for US though, but doubt it :P)

  2. AFAIK you can do what you like on your private giveaways if it is not abusive towards the community in anyway, malicious, has viruses on the site, etc

sadly this is true... but what can you do? It seems the community is on the consensus that private giveaways are for the person who makes it and he is allowed to decide what he does or makes people do as long as it is reasonable.
