it's not a bug, sg works like that because it grabs prices from the store.

if a price goes down, cv also drops.

If a game is removed from the store, it can be added back to the list though you will need to make a ticket for it.

Reviving this defunct thread....

I understand that the way cg coded/implemented SG is simple and effective, but it has it's drawbacks. This is one example, probably the one that annoys people somehow. I'm not a coder myself but I believe that there must be way to override this for removed games. Example: when the site gathers data if the price is "0" it won't add those values to the database, just ignore.

When games go free to play they usually change the sub ID, also free to play games usually have either billing type "Free on Demand" or "No Cost". So games that now are actually free still would count as 0, or just don't show in the list for giveaway creation. And those games that were given when they actually costed money or weren't free retain their last recorded value. It's hypothesis, as I said, I'm not a coder myself and I don't understand how the SG site fully works.

Yes, there would be ways to do it provided they tried a bit... I guess that's just not a priority :/
To be fair though, this shouldn't have too much of an impact on average, and it's kind of a way to implement some decay to user level (prevents to end up with everyone at level 10 at some point)
