Ah so it is something different. Then perhaps OP has to point that out because people can easily get confused that you are talking about the thing that everybody and their dog al.. etc.
I'm not sure if someone would buy this version but I suppose you're in bigger luck with that if you make yourself clear this is the thing that comes with items :3

Is Dota 2 Early Access the same thing as everybody and their dog already has even if they didn't really want it and otherwise can quite easily get for free? Because sadly yes, it's pretty much worthless because everybody and their dog already has even if they didn't really want it and otherwise can quite easily get for free. Steam market seems to push some copies for couple of cents if you're desperate.

If it has red text, it isn't worth much. If it doesn't have the red text then you can sell it in tf2op for a few keys. Make sure to say its not restricted in your trades.
EDIT: Yeah, the one without red text can be sold, but you have to mention that it's early access without any red text. I have seen people on outpost looking for them.

The early access one has no red text and it says "Dota 2 Early Access Gift - Winter Sale 2012" instead. The description is the same though. And the early access is not marketable but the red text one is. He has both versions in his inventory, check it out.

How does it show up in your inventory?
Nvm, found out what it looks like... Dota people would still like it for the items, even though they are pretty common

The "Early Access" comes with items (see the store page), whereas the "free Dota beta invite" (of which everyone has more than enough) does not come with items.

They are worth way less now :(
Because they've opened up Servers in China... check Dota2lounge

Honestly it's to late now because many people own Dota 2.You can try and put it up to sale on steam market:
http://steamcommunity.com/market/
But i doubt that somebody will buy it once that are so many free giveaways of Dota 2 on almowst every website that you said there.Even here on the forum i remember there were some people who made a thread about this and there were so many Dota 2 keys.

Why does everyone keep calling them "Dota 2 keys"?
A Dota 2 key is an ingame item that you use to unlock a Dota 2 crate.
Heck, I'd even let it pass as a "Dota 2 game key", but you can't sell game keys on the market.
The thingies on the market are "Dota 2 gifts", you may also call them Dota 2 invites or Dota 2 beta access.

I not so long ago got the Valve Complete Pack and I then received an extra copy of the Dota 2 Early Access. Problem is I can't find anyone who would buy it. I've posted on SteamTrades and TF2Outpost, received no responses whatsoever. I tried Reddit, but the have disallowed trading of Dotas there. I even searched for groups and sites who specialize in trading of Dota gifts, posted on some but to no avail!
What can I do next? I'm lost...
