Honestly I find this the most entertaining version of WC because I love it when underdogs win. It's full of surprises, and I'm bored of seeing the same script running over and over. Time to split the cake.

Spot on. SK and Japan are still not ready for late stages imo. They've proven that they're getting tougher though and have more weight.

Since we are on topic of FIFA corruption, i personally think that the increase of added time is being introduced during world cup as an helping hand to all bigger teams, and that is something ive seen being pushed in the portuguese league as well
it is impressive how Saudi arabia and Japan managed to push through. Others like USA had an efficiency drop, because for starters players arent used to keep that pace, and secondly they dont have many top players to rotate the squad, even i have a hard time watching 15min of more game.

I saw a Keylor Navas out of shape and not focused at all but a great goalkeeper can't make a lot when the defenders are not doing their job. Then again I just saw the highlights. Our national team has been there (against Chile in Copa América). What about that Brazil vs Germany in 2014 World Cup? It is a complicated group for Costa Rica right now.
