So, I got to here : http://54.93.81.159/ to calculate the true value of my CV.
I assume the calculation there is correct, if they have made mistake you don't have to read the rest of my discussion/thread.

To my surprise, some of the packed games at Steam (for example : Kings of Bounty Platinum Edition) are priced as $ 3.
I thought that it may be the discount, but my Lego Marvel gift (80% discount) is still priced at its full price, not on discounted price.

So my suggestions :

  • Steam Packs/Bundles are different than Humble Bundles or Indie Gala. While there is a cost saving, it's not as significant as the cost saving you got when buying bundles at IG or at Humble. For example : On Fully Loaded bundle in Bundlestars, you could save up $130, while the packs at Steam are only save up $11.
  • I suggest packs at Steam be treated differently, either use a different cut from bundles, or just price it on full price. (For my Kings Bounty example, maybe 50%, so its CV is around $15, its even still less than the cost of the bundle of $20)

On the other hand, the CV calculator may be wrong too, and there is no reason to dispute all of this.

Thank you.

I don't know about other packages, but Kings Bounty Platinum Edition really costs 20$ - https://steamdb.info/sub/6121/

Oh, now I see. Looks like a bug in CV calculator, this pack is not in the bundle list.
