Nonograms are back! Didn't have time to post puzzles lately, but now I'm ready to make up for it.

There are 6 stages, each consisting of two puzzles: A - a classic nonogram to solve, B - another nonogram that is a puzzle itself, there's some ciphers and encryption involved. No maths though :) Each A-part leads to a giveaway with B-part and to another stage. Each B-part will lead you to a giveaway with a partial code for the final stage.

Rewards include: Sinister City, Frederic: Resurrection of Music, Teddy Floppy Ear - Mountain Adventure, Frederic: Evil Strikes Back, Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily, Dark Years, Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood, Left in the Dark: No One on Board, Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek, Demon Hunter 2: New Chapter, Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala, The Secret Order 4: Beyond Time, Fantasy Mosaics 14: Fourth Color.

All giveaways are up till February 21st.
Good luck!

Start here: Stage 1A

All giveaways have ended. You will find solution to every stage of the puzzle here.

Solution to all puzzles:

A:

  1. Elephant
  2. Duck
  3. Horse
  4. Camel
  5. Koala
  6. Dog

B:

  1. Roman numbers: LII CXX LXXV CIII LXIX translate to 52 120 75 103 69 which is ASCII for 4xKgE. The lower right part is a case indication, which is a hint, but is not needed to solve the puzzle.
  2. This one gave you some trouble. The tricky part was realising that one of the numbers can be zero. Start by figuring that j is 1 (3rd and 4th column from the right). Then analise the 1st column from the right by trial and error, to figure out that C can't be 5, 4, 3 and 2, so C has to be 0. From this point the rest is getting much easier. In the end C=0, j=1, E=2, a=3, R=4, z=5. Last thing to do is substitute the numbers from the solution into corresponding letters: 04153 become CRjza.
  3. Each row is a binary number, where black=1 and blank=0. You get: 01110101 01100010 01000011 01110101 01011010 that translates to 117 98 67 117 90 which is ASCII for ubCuZ.
  4. Each of the first five rows is a letter in morse code, where 3 consecutive black squares become a dash and 1 become a dot. You get: /-..-/.---/./.-./--.-/ which translates to XJERQ. Last two rows are indicating case of the letters: xXXXx, leading to xJERq.
  5. Each of the first five rows is a letter in Baconian cipher, where black is B and blank is A. You get: AABBB BABBA AAAAB AAABB AABBB that translates to HWBDH. Last two rows are indicating case of the letters: xxxXx, leading to hwbDh.
  6. Go to https://www.steamgifts.com/discussions and put #18 in the search field. First result is my old thread, which contains a hidden code: uCV5n.

Final stage:
What is this whole event about? Nonograms, duh! So when I ask for mother's name, I want the founder and creator of nonograms. Wikipedia states that in 1987, Non Ishida, a Japanese graphics editor, won a competition in Tokyo by designing grid pictures using skyscraper lights that were turned on or off. This was probably the first nonogram ever. You can find out a bit more here.

Congrats to all solvers. Prices have been sent to the winners.
