Nonograms are back! Didn't have time to post puzzles lately, but now I'm ready to make up for it.

There are 6 stages, each consisting of two puzzles: A - a classic nonogram to solve, B - another nonogram that is a puzzle itself, there's some ciphers and encryption involved. No maths though :) Each A-part leads to a giveaway with B-part and to another stage. Each B-part will lead you to a giveaway with a partial code for the final stage.

Rewards include: Sinister City, Frederic: Resurrection of Music, Teddy Floppy Ear - Mountain Adventure, Frederic: Evil Strikes Back, Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily, Dark Years, Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood, Left in the Dark: No One on Board, Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek, Demon Hunter 2: New Chapter, Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala, The Secret Order 4: Beyond Time, Fantasy Mosaics 14: Fourth Color.

All giveaways are up till February 21st.
Good luck!

Start here: Stage 1A

All giveaways have ended. You will find solution to every stage of the puzzle here.

First batch of hints:
5B: This one smells nice, I'm hungry!
6B: No external sources or tools needed.
Final: Sources also mention the father. However, the mother and the father made the child independently, not knowing that the other one is doing something similar. Yes it's a hint, deal with it ;)

Please let me know if you're stuck at some other point.

Gonna recheck it in a few hours.

Yup, there's an error in B1. You have to add +1 to the fourth character.

thanks for that... can I also have B5 checked? or is there a twist to the encryption? the simple way doesn't work for me

Rechecked B5 and it's correct. Note that it's not the same encryption as in B3.
I just fixed the partial link to the final stage, that was unintentionally too long :)

Bump for normal ones done... now on to figure out 4b,5b and 6b

Not sure what's more annoying, not having any idea what 5B is of seeing exactly what 6B is but having no idea what to do with it :P

5B is a cipher. 6B is not :)

I kind of assumed that much...

But I'm still looking for a 5-letter-code for both, right?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

In 5B yes... In 6B... well... not directly, you have to find something else first.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Okay, so I can drop my ideas to a) express what what I see with five letters for 6 and b) to get a 8 letter code for 5... both seemed unlikely buy you never know ;)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yup, you can drop them :)

Okay, your hint for 5B would fit with my idea that would have given me a 8 letter code... hmmm

But 8 letter code would lead to external source...

To get something clear here with an example: (confused on the A and B parts)
I solved the first nonogram, answered the nonogram and got toe the first (1A) GA. There is a link leading to 2A, and a nother nonogram which i have solved getting a code.
Does this code directle link to another GA (with some magic) , or do i first need all bonus codes to generate another link?

Maybe I'm stupid too but I have the same question and don't find what to do ><
Can you help me please?

Permalink

Every part B nonogram is standalone - means you get to another GA with every B.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thank you for your help. But i don't understand how the code help me to find the ga link :/

Permalink

since you're new: click on any Giveaway (GA) and look on the URL. note the 5digit code? This is a unique one, every GA has one.
Puzzles mostly encrypt this characters in many different ways. a pretty good comprehension can be found here:
https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/TLR8m/zelgh-magic-guide-to-basic-sg-puzzling-update-april-2016

Ergo: you have to decrypt the given codes you see after solving a B-nonogram.

So I kinda bruteforced myself into the last ITH with 2 letters missing. Any hints on what the answer of it is about exactly or did I miss something along the way because of the brute force?

You didn't miss anything. The last puzzle part is exactly about figuring out what's it about :)
