Some actual movies on steam? I'm down for it!

I disapprove! Steam is a GAMING platform, not for movies!
Valve are undeviatingly exacerbating their situation by doing this! (Thanks, thesaurus!)

Where were you when the launched RPGMaker back then? Now you're just one category too late. ;_;

I still consider RPG Maker a form of game. It's like a map builder rather than an actual games developing software.
Movies? Meh. But I don't actually mind, I'm just kidding. :P

I, on the other side, look forward to the day they offer all sorts of entretainment.
Or the option to download soundtracks without needing to download the entire game, yeah that would be nice.

Steam is not a gaming platform, its a monopoly
they will continue until they can sell you everything that can be digitally distributed

There is already some movies on steam, such as Kung Fury (Free). These will certainly make a great addition!

Looks like the pricing for the madmax series is being set up rite now. Fury Road will be $19.99. The previous movies in the series are below this price.

This might be good, but they need to improve the player. I don't remember what the issues where but started seeing Kung Fury on steam and then decided to change to Youtube because of the player.

I've watched kung fury several times actually & didn't have an issue with the player. Like most things in steam though, I'm sure it does need some work.

I'm pretty sure that's not their fault. It's either against the law i.e your governments rules or because of some distribution or copyright issues.

Steam is moving towards the living room (the new multimedia center, movies, music and games. Big Picture mode, SteamOS and the Steam hardware)
