Karma Giveaways - Recruitment [CLOSED]

Group closed!

The definition of karma is the destiny that you earn through your actions and behavior. The Buddhist believe that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa. That's what we believe in as well.

Rules/Requirements

At least Level 2 on SteamGifts.
Positive or at least equal overall sent/received ratio.
Try to make at least one giveaway a month.
Keep your group ratio (sent/received) above +0.5 and your value difference above -$100.
Multiple wins, not redeemed wins, and suspension on SG will get you removed from the group.
Steam profile has to be public.
Speak as well as understand basic English.
No region restricted giveaways.
Bundled and non-bundles games are welcome.
Giveaways should last at least 24 hours but no longer than a week.
You can add other closed groups to your giveaway but no public groups, no large groups, and no huge whitelists.
Do not blacklist other members. If there's a problem, report it to an admin.
Inactive members will be removed from the group after 1 month of inactivity on SG.
Members without a single group giveaway in 3 months will be removed from the group.
Be nice and respectful! A little thank you after winning a game really isn't too much to ask.

In case the recruitment is closed you can still request to join but you'll have to wait until recruitment is open again.

Thanks, I see there is a ratio limit (+0.5), is there any value limit too? Like -$100~200. I dont plan on getting there, just so I can keep track on all my groups requirements and limits.

Yeah, the ratio limit is +0.5 which everyone should be able to uphold. As for the value in general, I'd say -$150 is the maximum.

Thanks, I think most (if not all) giveaways I create will be shared with some other groups, but I should be creating some everyday as I also need to keep a good ratio on those groups too.

Shared giveaway are completely fine as long as they're not shared with open groups with massive amounts of members or a super huge whitelist because that would kind of destroy the entire purpose and drastically limit the changes of one of the members actually having a chance to win. I know that not everyone can do giveaways all the time but in general, I'd appreciate if everyone would try to do at least one giveaway a month because without them the group can't exist. =)

All closed groups with 40-100 members, I don't even have a whitelist yet since I joined SG about 2 months ago and only became more active this last month.

Yeah, groups of that size are absolutely fine for shared giveaways. =) If anything ever comes up, you're also more than welcome to just add me on Steam.

Btw, when is the montly ratio check? Because I've won some shared GA before joining you and my ratio is -0.3 right now

I've just gotten done with the monthly ratio check which is also why I've sent out a couple of invites. I do the monthly checks either on the last of the month or the first of the next. So the next check will be April 30th / May 1st.

Same as DrStoeckchen, I'd like to join the waitlist. Question:What happens if you blacklist someone that's part of a group that you later join? In this case, the group has a fairly large number of members, so it's hard to check manually.

Well, since the new system is in place now you won't be able to see their giveaways if it happens that you have someone who's part of the group blacklisted prior to joining, even though, I'm not 100% sure how the entire blacklist thing works with groups. I'd still request to check though because it's part of the rules to not blacklist other group members.
