So i Bought Fallout New Vegas Ultimated Edition becuse i wanted all the DLC i was really happy unstill i installed a mod that required Old World Blues and my game insta crashed when i tryed to start it... so i checked my "DATA" folder and did not find a singel DLC in that folder...

Proof that i own Ultimated Edition

My DATA Folder

Here comes the wierd part

In my steam libary it says that i own the Original New Vegas not the Ulitmated Edition...

Can someone please tell me? what is going on!?

Maybe not the right place to ask but i know some people here are really smart and maybe knows the problem :)

Edit: DLC TAB

SOLVED IT! there was a error in my game that did not allow me to show my DLC for the game due to a program that blocked that option in the game :) thanks for all the suggestion :)

I know often it doesn't say GotY or Ultimate edition even when you have that. Borderlands GotY (for me) shows up as just Borderlands, but it does show the DLC in the DLC tab. I realize that doesn't help you much though.

I have the Ultimate edition too, it's always just listed as "Fallout: New Vegas" in your library. Have you tried right-clicking and then 'View downloadable content'?

That should show any DLC you have. I mean, if I were you I'd try uninstalling and re-installing. It could be a problem with the mod or something, too.

To check if you have the DLCs either use a mod manager, use the mod viewer F NV comes with or go ingame and see the content. All the DLCs of FNV come as selectable mod in those menus.

My Data folder doesn't list the DLC I have either... but if you go to the properties of Fallout: New Vegas in your library an go to DLC it should list all the DLC you have from Ultimate.

Also to mention, did you BUY this from STEAM or get a key from someone? When I go to that page it says "You already own Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition" but I don't... I own base game and 3 DLC.

Interested in knowing this part: Did you BUY this from STEAM or get a key from someone? When I go to that page it says "You already own Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition" but I don't... I own base game and 3 DLC.

Try right-click -> Properties -> DLC. It should show the DLC you own there. That it shows up as just Fallout New Vegas is normal.
If it shows that you own the DLCs try right-click -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache. That should download any broken or missing files. If it doesn't show the DLC in the DLC tab you should contact steam support.

Either try again. Check the dlc isn't under data/data. Also verify game cache.

Do you bought the game from Steam Store or somewhere else..?
Try checking your Steam account page, see if "Fallout: NV Ultimate Edition" is on the list.

Check your Steam account page, see what kind of Fallout: NV was activated on your account.
FYI tho, if you visit FO:NV Ultimate store page, you'll always notified you own that Ultimate edition even though you don't own the DLCs. Because both game (FO:NV and FO:NV Ultimate) share similar appID.

You seemed to skip this part of my post earlier, so I'll post again: Did you BUY this from STEAM or get a key from someone? When I go to that page it says "You already own Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition" but I don't... I own base game and 3 DLC.

So, based on that, going to the Ultimate store page and it saying you own it is not proof of owning Ultimate (just the base game)

Go here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/

Well so you don't own the Ultimate edition. Don't let FO:NV Ultimate store page confuse you. It always been glitched like that for NV retail owner.

You don't have New Vegas DLCs in your games (they appear as seperate games). Ergo you either have just New Vegas, or Steam screwed your order. Try to restart steam, maybe they will appear since they are somehow blocked, but without their help you won't get anywhere.

Check RanTH answer, or just click this link and search for New Vegas. If you'll find "Fallout New Vegas Ultimate", it's issue with Steam.
If you'll find only Fallout New Vegas, that will mean you have only base-game, without DLCs - you'll have to contact your seller.

Did you buy the Ultimate Edition? If you brought the actual retail game, and it was the ultimate edition, I dont see why you shouldn't have the DLC

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That's weird indeed.
It's normal that it's only named Fallout New Vegas in your library and not Ultimate Edition but your DLC tab should look like this. I also own the Ultimate Edition.
You may contact Steam support in this case if you really bought the Ultimate Edition and not just the base game before.

I did, silly. Sometimes Steam will only download some stuff after you run the game and play it. It could also be that the he has to authenticate the DLC in some way inside the game.

Yesterday when I went to play the Borderlands DLC steam told me it "finished downloading" while I was in game accessing the DLC. So the same could happen here. Seriously.
