Once all games are downloaded, download this file to the game folder (example - C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonSega Classics in Windows 7 64bit) then run. It will organise the games in a more sensible order.

If you get more later, you must run this again before downloading them, to restore the original order, download the new games, then again run the organiser. Otherwise the new games will overwrite some of the resorted titles.

Last thing to be aware of, after running the BAT file, it will delete itself, so keep a backup if you think you might need it again.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. How'd you find out about it?

I was looking it up back when I got a few of the packs myself ages ago. Found that on the Steam forums. Unfortunately, the original post is no more, but I found a cached version, so took the download link and posted it here, since the packs are being rather popular right now.

Thank you so very much, Delta! This will make it so much easier to keep track of things. It was such a pain in the ass scrolling through lord knows how many Genesis games, just to get to one that should have been at the top of the list. lol

Thank you, this will be somewhat helpful. Too bad they didn't just go with the Sega Genesis Mega Collection design that they did on ps3, it was just a straight list. It wasn't alphabetical order, but that was because it was sectioned by game groupings.

There is a reason for this. With the PS3 collection, the games are set. They won't change.

With the PC version, it works differently. Each game has a number for its name. First game on the list is 001, second game is 002, etc, and newer games get higher numbers. This download will change those numbers so each is in order.

huh...neat. My only actual issue with the way it runs now is that you can't hit previous at the first one to go to the end of your collection. I love the Shining Force series, so being pack 4 and S, it'll always be near the end of my list.

I modified it so it doesn't auto delete itself. You can get it below. For those curious I commented out the last line.
