damn thats one heck of a heater, usually I'd say avoid putting PC on ground obviously for dust etc, BUT for winter it might be good feet warmer XD

That boombox comparison was spot on. That was the first thing I that went through my mind when I first saw the Strix come out of the box. I don't even think my absolutely cavernous Thermaltake View 32 could handle that thing!

Hopefully they will have figured out how to get things back to a manageable size by the time I need to upgrade. I feel like we are heading back to the early days of computers where you needed a dedicated building just to fit a basic one....

I remember learning in school about giant computers, like ENIAC, that were the size of a large hall and later a room. I guess we're going backwards now, from desktop to a small room size "personal" computers.

That video feels like watching someone complain that their new yacht is too big and doesn't fit into their personal dock anymore.

If people are willing (and able...) to pay for that thing, then they'd be willing to pay for a new case too and card manufacturers don't really have a reason to care.

This is crazy that not only we need a new supply to juice up the GPU, but now also a new case. What a joke when you can even see that the whole GPU is the size of a PlayStation 5.
