In just a few months I have managed to gather over 600 games to my steam library, games like Terraria and Narco Terror. They are really not my kind of games. I like FPS, sports and adventure games the most.

I need opinions what to get as my 700th game, here you can see what I already have. I'd like it to be a special game, maybe a hidden gem in the massive steam universe that I have not yet found.

Update: I now activated Portal as my 700th game on steam. Thanks for all your input and I added a third giveaway somewhere.

Congrats to the winners!

I've stepped on too many legos so I'm traumatized enough already :) Portal might be an option.

Just haven't been interested in it, got Portal 2 in a trade just a few months ago.

Yes, can't remember a game I paid full price for. 95% of my games are from bundles. Got addicted to bundles ever since the Humble Double Fine.

VtM:B is a long game, but also a very good choice, especially if you played and liked the original Deus Ex back in the day (which... I also notice you don't have on Steam yet)

My 1000th happened to be a SteamGifts win, "4 Elements." Also, it was a small game, so it was nice to be able to completely play through and get 100% achievements for it.
Maybe The Stanley Parable. I still don't own it myself, so I haven't actually played it yet, but I encourage you to try the demo. The demo itself is... well... demos are supposed to show you what the game is all about, right?....

Everyone keeps saying I should get Stanley but I don't know why I haven't done so. It's not like it's expensive.

Your statement sounds like you're talking about a game from the early '90s or something! IT'S FALLOUT 3.......many more people, than just your friend, still play it!

Well, when you try it, you're going to like it. I'm 99% positive. It's really challenging but I see you've got games such as SMB so you should be used to it. The PC version also has the daily challenge which means everyone get's the same seed and you can compete with other people from the same day.

May I suggest Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010? personally I love that game and it's a long standing racing franchise.

or how about Injustice? came out recently and supposed to be pretty popular

Half-Life. You can't be a steam user without having played Half-Life. And there wouldn't have been steam without Half-Life letting Valve take off.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I have played Half-Life, I just forgot my original steam account and made a "new" one (the one I'm using now) way back. I even have the original box somewhere.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If you have the original box, you could complain to steam that you can't redeem the code, showing them the proof that you have bought the box. Ask them to delete the game from the account that currently has it, so you can use it for your newer account.
