If you get the operation then there are missions in it that are for coop, they're called guardian missions I believe

Uhh. kind of I guess, I mean, you have to buy the operation it'll be up to called operation bloodhound pass. It's not necessary it just gives you access to missions which you can do for a bit of bonus xp/for fun, and you get the operation coin if you want to display it .

Useless coin/pass in my opinion. It doesn't add anything. You can drop also without it, just you don't drop skins inside that pass.

And you get faster exp by playing competitives...

You get the case drops from the pass. If you buy it in the first few days or first week you can make twice the money of the pass back

Lol, i got only .12 cents skins. I made more money with Falchion cases. I got back only what i spent for the pass. Nothing more.

And yeah i bought it instantly when it was released.

I bought every operation, and the new tf2 "operation", i got my money back always within the first 2-3 days, and a little extra. I like them.

Yeah, i got my money back with only the first two Falchion cases i dropped, but not with the weekly skin, lol.

That's sad in my honest opinion.

Lol don't tell me you expected to get your money back from the skin drops. If you (and everyone else) tries to get them back like that, no one does. Don't be greedy. After all it's not obligatory to make you money back from this, it's supposed to make you have a little bit more fun in the game by creating challenges.

I don't, but on Vanguard operation [The only other one i played since i'm on CS:GO only from october 2014.] i dropped some good skins, well... Not for me, but good at least to sell them and buy other Steam crap such new skins, cards, backgrounds and emoticons.

That one instead is really poor. They added three collections as far as they suck. And all skins from them are so ugly that you cannot even pretend to say "Well, it's worth 0.12 €, at least i can keep it for myself."...

The fact that you don't get expensive skins drops doesn't mean the setup of the whole operation is bad. I've bought the operation 4-5 days after it's release and had no problem earning my money back withing the first week (2 cases drops and 1 skin of around 30 cents). After this everything I earn is extra money, which I wouldn't if I didn't buy it.
Plus the operation goes 'till 30 of September, which is 2 and a half more months. So in the end I believe it's worth it because there is absolutely no way for you to not your money back.

You get skins also without the coin, as i said before. Okay not the operation ones, but you get them, the olds.

So actually you EARN also without paying 5+ € for the coin. And i bet you earn the same ammount without considering the money for payback the coin. Plus you can also play all the maps.

And you get higher exp by doing normal competitive matches.

So what's the point?

Is it fun to pay 5 € to try to be lucky and get them back, and get extra .50 cents that you could get also without the coin?

Without the coins the skins you get are skins of 0.03-0.04 cents while the ones from the operation go for at least 0.10 cents plus you can get rare skins that cost like 20 times the price of the operation (unlucky I know but there still is a chance). Second plus you get case drops which you WOULDN'T get without the pass that cost in the beginning at least 4$ and even now after almost a month these cases go for around 50-60 cents.
If you take all these into account and do some base maths you will see that you make money out of the operation.
I for example spend 10 euros on Summer Sales thanks to the operation. If you didn't manage to earn money out of it, it's a miracle and you should tell us how you managed to do so.
Anyway I said what I wanted to say and explained in the best possible way that no matter what you earn money out of it. Now, if you can't understand or don't want to understand there is nothing I can do. Bye

What Aseed said, I just buy it with money from drops usually, and also - it gives a chance at weapons from the collection or w/e when you level up once a week - which can be worth more.

I got lucky and got a mac 10 fade as one of my level ups
