Whenever a site does a giveaway of more than a handful of keys (more than 1,000) the game will be set to 0 CV by moderators if they become aware of. So there's no reliable way for free keys that have value on SG.

Some facts about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered: it's set to no CV since Sep 30, 2026, added to the list on Oct 1, 2026... though so far NONE of the keys from AWA reached the SG - checking the archive the last GA for it has been created for it on July 31, 2026.
In the last year or so we've got some IMO seriously overzealous mod fighting for anything that anybody could get in any way for free or at a low price to be set to 0 CV, no matter, if it's 10k copies given or just one copy sold on some gray site and listed by GGDeals as all time low.
Instead of common sense someone is just strictly applying a stiff rule, though refusing to disclose what are the exact criteria (is it 93% off, 95% off, 90% off, 97% off in all time lows - I've asked for this at least twice and and I've got only a very evasive answer about the spirit of giving no matter CV) and not caring, what is the impact of this on the quality and quantity of GAs and on SG community.

I toyed with the idea of creating a zero CV train already. It's unfortunate that good games are not considered for giveaways as creators are not rewarded by any means.

If I knew, that GGDeals would catch a single transaction on a gray site (seems to me not very likely), I would be tempted to buy a copy of Factorio, RimWorld or Cyberpunk 2077 and sell it on a gray site at 98% off (if lucky to my alt account there) just to highlight, how ridiculous the whole 0 CV thing currently is.

That seems far from an intelligent way of handling things, speaking as an outsider that has nothing to do with either of those particular games.
It actively discourages quality giveaways.
The limit should probably be more like 1000.

Step 1 - Buy Bundles - Humble Bundle, Indie Royale, etc...
Step 2 - Make giveaways to increase your level - higher levels = better odds of winning thanks to less entries.
Step 3 - While waiting for a splash of good luck, hang out in the Discussion section, and enjoy the community.
Step 4 - Profit emotionally by giving as well as taking. (many of us are shamefully guilty of failing to balance this last step.

If you giveaway a game that hasn't been bundled you can receive full CV for the game. Since it it is now possible to gift games much more easily through Steam, you can gift an unbundled game that is on sale at a price you can afford or priced to your liking. Make sure you end the giveaway well before the sale ends. If you're going to gift the game to the winner as a friend, you'll have to give them time to accept your friend request. However, if the game is on the winner's wishlist, it can be gifted without a friend request.

The time limit for gifting only applies to gift cards and steam wallet funds now, and pretty sure it is 72 hours. The person doesn't need to have the game you gift wishlisted.
Cross region almost always requires that you friend them instead of the gift-to-email option.
You can add someone as friend from across the world and immediately gift them a game even if they don't have it wishlisted.

Honestly, in your last two posts, people keep recommending the exact same thing: read the FAQ. So please, read the FAQ before asking another question.
From what I gather, you're trying to get a free indie game to create a giveaway here, but you don't want it to be 0 CV. In the FAQ, it explicitly states:
Games typically receive no value or reduced value when they're featured in bundles, heavily discounted, or available for free in online promotions. Their values are adjusted this way to better represent their true value. Keep in mind, the asterisk icons are just for reference, and the value of a game can be backdated if we need to make retroactive changes.
So, you're unlikely to get what you're looking for. As I already explained to you in that other thread in Portuguese so you'd fully understand: even if you pay for a game, there's no guarantee it will give you any CV on SG. You can keep giving away your free 0 CV games with no problem at all, but if you want to increase your CV, buy bundles or games from stores listed on IsThereAnyDeal. Just do whatever works best for you.
