So a while ago, i was given this new Android Tablet with a keyboard. I found that useful since i like to write stories, but i can't carry my laptop everywhere i go. But for some reason, this brand-new tablet doesn't connect to my Wi-Fi or any other Wi-Fi (even password free ones) at all! Frankly, i wouldn't care for the internet access, i just wanted to write. But it turned out that this Brand-New tablet didn't come with any text-editing program! Not even some notepad editor! So i downloaded via my laptop many different programs as APK files so i could transfer them via USB install them manually on the Tablet. Most programs were rejected for some reason, but those that DID install did the following: They opened, demanded that i'd sign in/sign up via the internet WHICH I CANNOT CONNECT TO!

Now here's what i'm asking anyone that could help me:

  • Help me solve the internet issue
    OR
  • Tell me of any offline text-editing programs you may know about that DO NOT require "sign ups"

Please, i had this problem for a while, and i couldn't find the solution online. If you can, please help me! D:
UPDATE: For some reason, my keyboard stopped functioning. I suppose this ended badly...

For the internet issue, maybe your tablet doesn't support wifi and instead uses a phone chip? And for text editors, maybe you already tried, but the best i know is Open Office...

Wifi- No, it found my home Wi-Fi and i entered the password several times correctly, i checked. It just won't connect, but it does recognize the router. Text editing- Open office? I'll go ahead and try that. Thanks for the reply!
