So, err, hello world?
I'm the developper of this Adventure game/Visual novel mix.
I was inspired to make my own game after playing To the Moon and worked hard on it, earning 7 game awards in the process.
It's so wonderful to read the players' feedback, how much they cared about your characters or your story...
Making a game is a lot of work, but even if only one player likes it when you release, it's worth all the effort.
I've learned so much about so many things game-related, the experience itself is already a reward.
If you have any question, I'll be happy to share my insight!

.... even if only one player

question: https://store.steampowered.com/developer/PhoenixOnline/ has published great titles, you've "only" made Bleeding Moons?
also, thank you!

Yes, only Bleeding Moons... so far :)
I've something else in the final phases, probably ready next year.
And Phoenix is a very nice publisher. They helped me a lot polishing my game and fixing the first version of my English text, along with bug hunting.

You're welcome!
The demo includes parts that are in the final game, but with a specially made set of events to showcase them.
You won't be able to import your savegame because the internal structure is completely different, but it's an accurate taste for the actual content.

frankly not the game for me... but learnt the "you might never know" lesson ages ago (like... point and clicks, visual novels ???)
i'm also worried by the time you need to appreciate it.
but, yes, gonna try the demo. you're great marketer! (lol)
edit: playing it in french! and it "feels" hella good,
"Peuh! Il est pas en etat de reconnaitre sa mère. Ni l'inverse d'ailleurs."

They are one of the developers from "Devcats", a studio that makes lovely puzzle-like cat-filled games! Go check them out!

HexLands
Regrowth
Hi guys, I'm Tibor a.k.a Tudvari a.k.a "Portgate Studios" ^^
I'm a solo developer who's working on his second commerical title besides his dayjob.
I've been dreaming about making games since I made my first little custom map in Warcraft III. To cut it short later I got into making World of Warcraft private servers, then modding GTA: San Andreas, then started studying computer science, messed around with making browser games and then found Unity! Finally I could make my own PC games! :D
For 2 years I was just jumping from idea to idea but then I finally settled on an ARPG project in 2018 which I could also submit as my thesis. In 2020 I finally decided to just release something first instead of always aiming for the best idea in the world. ^^ I planned Regrowth to be a 4 months long project, and after 11 months of works I released my first game in April 2021.
After Regrowth I jumped back to my ARPG, but in 2022 I thought that I should release something small again because this ARPG takes ages... So I came up with the idea of next game: HexLands. I planned it to be a half year long project, now I'm around 12 months in at least... And it should take another 6 for sure. :D
So far I've been really enjoying this journey, even if there are always some really stressful weeks or months. It's awesome to look back and see how I improved, how much I achieved which I was just dreaming about not so long ago... (I mean.. I have a game on STEAM!)... and how much I still have to learn. :D Making a smaller game really paid off, my second, bit bigger project has already benefited a lot from it, I'm far away from launch but the numbers are already much better than Regrowth's were at launch.
I also met a lot of cool people, learned a lot from them, made some friends, got together with old ones... so I'm really happy about the fact that I kept pushing this dream and didn't let it to be just a dream. Anyway, if you'd like to join our little community, feel free to join our Discord server, you can PM me there anytime! :)
And of course let me know if you have any questions, I'm all ears! :) Thanks for the oppurtinity, cheers!

PS: devs often post in User Projects and Game Showcase discussions, so you might be able to spot a few devs and their games in there.

here you'll gonna find developers that we noticed to be here around.
if you see one that's not listed here, please say it and if you're actually a dev, please share with the whole SG forum a few bits about you and, if you really want, a chance to try your games!
(do never miss a chance to better know a dev, you'll gonna see the whole gaming world from a totally new perspective)
