I guess the franchise's name is enough for a clickbait for people who'd want these fantasy farming simulators:

Farm Life: Natures Adventure (ended)
Wild Season (ended)
Stardew Valley (ended)

There's another one I've been watching since they started the project, it's called Orange Season and is now out on Steam (in Early Access, but at least the developers are active). I wanted to make a giveaway for this one as well, but not today.

Bump with your Harvest Moon waifu / husbando. (or not)

Hmmm. Fable-ish Harvest Moon... and the minimun tier to be awarded with the game is not too expensive. I'll give it some time, but I'm most certain I'll back this project. :D

Ok, so Cam from Stories of two towns (or what ever the english name is :] ) and Vaughn on Sunshine Islands. For some bizarre reason I either really can't remember the others or didn't get that far.... o.o
I normally only play them if I'm a) bored of playing PC games or b) sick or c) on holiday.... apparently neither one happened recently for long enough ;)

"Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns", I wanted to give it a shot on 3DS, but my 3DS backlog reached titanic proportions. D:
And I remember Vaughn from Island of Happiness, but I don't think I've played Sunshine Islands.
I'm never stuck in a single place so it's hard to play PC or table console (I think that's the name for non-mobile videogame consoles, isn't it?), so I usually play anything is on my DS / 3DS / Vita when I'm travelling, on my way home/work and stuff. xD

I liked Tale of two towns a lot. It had both eastern and asian elements and that was really nice. Luckily I started with a girl, not sure if I could ever have chosen a girl to marry :D
Oh... then I guess it was not Sunshine but the other one, where you get shipwrecked with some ppl on this island. I think. I know there where two games with him, but I just played one. Ah, what ever :D

Huh, it obviously has it's merits to be up and about :D
I'm mostly staying home so I really have to be in a HM mood. But since there are nowadays even kinda HM games on steam..... the chances are even slimmer :]

Yup, I've just checked, Vaughn is in both Island of Happiness and Sunshine Islands. And by double checking I see they're practically the same game, but Sunshine Islands has improved mechanics and some extra stuff.

I've never played Harvest Moon, but I added Stardew Valley on my wishlist as soon as it came out. I'm just waiting for a 50% discount to buy it.
I wonder if we'll get to see more similar games show up on Steam.

I was waiting for a 60% discount, but then it came on a Humble Monthly Bundle. xD

Bump.

I haven't played much of Harvest Moon (or Story of Seasons, as they now call it.), but I love Stardew Valley so I'm willing to try more of the games out (even if I didn't really get into the two Harvest Moon games I played). I haven't heard that much good things ahout Wild Season, but I'm willing to give it a shot., despite that.

Give it a shot even if it's on emutalor or PSOne/2 Classics if you own a PS3/4, most of people who were "meh" on Harvest Moon ended loving it. xD
An yeah... WIld Season was let down. Its still enjoyable, but its not what we expected. :(

stardew valley was the only good game you listed :/

although orange season looks like it shows promise. Still, I don't see why I'd get it when I already have Stardew Valley, is there really that much to distinguish it from Stardew? Because otherwise it's going to remain completely eclipsed by it. And by the looks of it the graphics aren't going to set it apart, that's for sure.

The one thing that truly is catching my attention is Kynseed. THAT one looks like it's got some real potential.

Different characters, different story, different developing, different mechanics, and those stuff. That's why there are tons of Harvest Moon games, none is exactly like the other. :)

Oh you saw that one too? I'm thinking in backing on Kickstarter, but I'm going to play that demo first. It DOES have potentia. :D

The one thing I'm not liking about it is the character model. I don't want to look like a creepy scarecrow : P

hopefully they'll sort that out in future development

Yeah, I guess they could've done a better job on the character design, but also it's just as cartoonesque as Fable was, I bet even Fable fans will stick to this design.
