Portal 1 Soundtrack? in game files?

i read here that you can extract the soundtrack

but i dont have the file in my common/poral folder.....

anyone knows more?

You have to open the game cache file and extract the .mp3 files from it

edit: Oh nevermind, you don't have that file at all?
edit2: Maybe it's only with the Orange Box version? I don't know, i give up.

The file is not located there anymore. It is in the Steam Directory and the subfolder SteamApps.

i just searched my whole steamapps folder, nothing found strangely :(
