Much more difficult, indeed! I could only solve 4/10 on my first pass.

Here's a tip that might make it slightly easier if you don't know about it: right-click the image and select "open in new tab". This will display the image in its original size, making it a lot easier picking out details. I assume quite a few knew about this already, but I figured it couldn't hurt to mention it given this puzzle seems to be a bit of a challenge =)

7/10 not too bad, but a movie buff like myself, should be able to figure out the 3 last ones.

Seems I might've made it a tad too hard and as such hints will be added tomorrow.

(Terrible) hints have now been posted, should hopefully make the puzzle somewhat easier.
Oh, and I guess I perhaps should mention it's a EUR 50+ giveaway; so don't give up even if it seems very hard :)

Bump for solved! The added hints help a lot!
Whoever stuck at the puzzles, it is time to try again!

Thanks to the hints, I now solved them all except for Q3. I'm hoping for a little more help on that one as I've searched and searched to no avail.

Here's another hint for you: among those many extras previously mentioned there were several dozens whom were amputees, allowing for realistic shots of limbs being blown off during said opening sequence.

Well it is the 'curve ball' of this particular puzzle, after all ;)
Here's another hint: the movie in question could just as easily have featured in my Movie Puzzle #01.

So apparently I couldn't help myself and decided to post my second Movie Puzzle early. The giveaway still starts tomorrow, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give you an additional day of guessing. Not only is this puzzle longer, but I think I might be a tad harder as well... ;)
You can give it a go here.
Here are some hints. Since I'm terrible at coming up with clever hints the quiz will probably be a bit easier and more google friendly now.
Q01 - The lead actor had a heart attack during filming, but the director kept it a secret in fear of the production being shut down. (The actor made a full recovery.)
Q02 - Before the US and its allies fought the Taliban in Afghanistan, there was another country who fought its own Afghan war. This movie is about that war.
Q03 - The opening scene involved over 900 extras.
Q04 - Based on a select group of military pilots active during World War II.
Q05 - Arnold Schwarzenegger was offered a role in this Vietnam war movie, but turned it down to do another project.
Q06 - Depicts a duel at sea, released just over 10 years after the end of World War II.
Q07 - Directed by a man more known for what's considered really bad movies that are often based on video games.
Q08 - Takes place during the Pacific Theater of World War II.
Q09 - The title of the movie includes the name of a military aircraft.
Q10 - The only movie in this quiz not based on an actual war or battle, but rather a fictional one.
It's another themed puzzle and yes, it might have the odd curve ball or two added for good measure.
As mentioned the giveaway will start tomorrow Saturday as the previous one ends.
Good luck!
(You might need it... evil laughter)
(Only for someone to solve it in, like, 5 mins and shame me forever.)
(Forcing me to up the ante even more for the next one!)
(Ok, I'll stop typing now.)
