Anyways if you sent to paypal you can write to them that you were scammed or if its a steal wallet code then write to steam that the code has been stolen.

I only recently started using CSGO Lounge, and today was the first time I noticed a large number of scams. The trades seemed to have been done by the same person, as most said they were "quick 1:1 trades" , that they "didn't mind overpaying because it's a quick trade", and were asking for relatively the same items for a Minimal Wear AK-47 Redline. The catch was that the AK-47 in all of their inventories was Field-Tested, and worth $15 less. The other curious thing was that all the inventories contained five items: the Field-Tested AK, a case, and three Industrial Grade weapons.

Aww I lost Garry's Mod, Binding of Isaac and Goat Simulator once... I went first :(

It's impressive how many people on this thread say they have been scammed by impersonators and lost meaningful amounts of money.

It's something as simple as only adding people by clicking on the SG profile button to be sure that whoever you're adding is coming from SG and actually has that rep!

What could be done to raise awareness of that? Maybe a warning when opening a discussion on SteamTrades or replying to a discussion there?
