heya, you need to "opt in beta" in your game's properties. select your game in the steam lib, right click on it to select properties>beta> type in bigtanksayshi and choose the new option called "prealpha_corvus" in the dropdown menu of the beta tab

- Dev has the keys assigned to site accounts.
- Dev can query key to see who activated it and can lookup steamids for app playtime, and site account stats.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was confused because in the past a Dev revoked keys for 3 bundle sites and I always wondered why he couldn't revoke the keys for 1 site he had an issue with.

My Steam client says 'project genesis already owned ',must have picked this up sometime in the past.
Just had to add that code bigtanksayshi in the beta options to get it to start downloading..
Note:
You might need to select the beta option again after entering the code.
3.8gb download.
I deleted a 'blank.txt' + 'blank' folder in steamapps\common\PROJECTGENESIS
Might not cause any issues , i think it's made if you try to download without entering the beta first.

For those who are interested, I tried the game, seems polished and functional, unfortunately it barely has any players, and no tutorial. It's a mix between spaceship combat and FPS team based multiplayer. It's difficult to judge how good or bad it is, simply because it seems the game gets more complex, the more people play it. So far it has not grabbed my attention, the shooting is not satisfying and the ship controls are terrible.

You need to make an account on their website(needed for the game login too), then ask for a key on Discord. They do send keys through DM. Well used to anyway.

Uff sorry to hear that. I got mine when I first read it on alienware and the entire process was easy painless. They do reply on Discord if you haven't tried that yet though I'd understand at some point it just becomes too much hassle for any game :p

TL;DR;
Create an account at the dev's website to get the steam key (have to use it within 24hrs)
to download the game, you need to "opt in" the correct server (same as other private beta/alpha tests). To do this, select the game in your steam library, right click it>properties>beta and type in the code bigtanksayshi, confirm and make sure the correct beta is selected.

Login at least once, perhaps spend some time before alpha ends to keep the game. Devs have indicated they will measure game activity to determine this.
