I've said this since I was on the site for a month or so. So, about for the past two years. No registration without confirmation of having read the rules / FAQ, and understanding basic site workings, such as making a giveaway, giving a gift / key, and how bundle CV works.

A bigger problem is people's resolute refusal to use the forum search, resulting in a hundred or more of these identical threads. It's nice to make a new thread, and few things in life match that warm, tingly feeling when you seen your name and avatar proudly displayed atop the SG forum. Having said that, do we really need so many people posting the same thing, just so that they can get that inner glow of accomplishment that comes from making your very own thread?
The information is all here, and clicking on any one of said threads would bring up all the answers that people are looking for.
As I've suggested before, perhaps the forum search box needs to be a little larger, so that these unobservant folks are able to locate it?
