Surely you have better things to do with your life.
I would attest that there is a good reason they "ignored" your request.
They have likely give the user a temporary suspension - they would never give a perma-ban for a first offence, and I don't know how many times they've begged.
I can't and won't say anymore than that, but rest assured there must be some logic to whatever they've decided on.

I vaguely remember hearing the way SG is coded it's not possible for Support to reply to user reports - or it's just official policy not to do so.

I just checked and on none of my 9 user reports I got a reply - while I do remember on several of them the appropriate action was taken.

They probably already got suspended in the meantime due to somebody else's report.
I'm sure you didn't check if they were suspended every day for the last year, right?

On my last user report, there is a note on the top that says:

Important: Due to the high number of user reports, comments are disabled. Reports will be closed by a staff member once they're reviewed, and action taken if deemed necessary.
