Crazy sale but i assume it's a wrong price and they might change it to 50% off cause it's Humble and similar things happened in the past.

It's still too much. I picked it up at Stadia with their first purchase promotion. $1 seemed good enough to give it a shot

I would not play it on Stadia, even if it was free. I can sometimes tolerate Epic Store but Stadia is unplayable mess.

I have it on Stadia. It's far from being a mess and perfectly playable on my wireless network. I guess it depends of the network quality.

Well I bit at this, thanks for sharing. Didnt manage to get very into the game when I bought it on EGS. It didn’t especially lack anything or feel bad, but it didn’t click the way the other games did. But now that it’s “finished,” I’m definitely willing to give it another go. Getting the full bundle on Steam for just over half of what the second season pass would cost me on Epic is nice too, since I have several friends who have the game on Steam

Is it any better with the Humble Choice subscriber discount?

yes, extra 20% off. It was 20 euro without sub and 16.99 with sub

It's actually a great deal, thank you!

It is a price glitch ... they priced it as regular edition without DLCs, which should have been 20 euro. Someone at HB is going to be fired tonight. Mafia Remastered also has a price glitch.

Maybe. I just hope that they won't take it away as I already bought it.

Same, we will see how long it will last, good buy anyway :)

And what's the odds that they'll revoke the keys once they discover what's happened?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I guess they could revoke the keys, but even if they do that you get a refund. There is nothing to lose if you want the game. They even might give you some wallet credit as a compensation, as they did in the past with The Call of Cthulhu price glitch ;)

Well, both are the most popular on the chart, so due to the scale of this thing, they will probably just bite the bullet and let everyone keep it, since the price was clearly shown at the time of purchase, so it is not your fault. I have encountered many price glitches during my lifetime and I was able to keep all of them (mostly on Ubisoft store and Steam but some grey market stores too).

Most likely they won't, it's already been even cheaper at Stadia (-90%)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Wouldn't they have to go to 2K to get the keys revoked for anyone who redeemed it already?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm not sure how it works, but it isn't the first time they've revoked keys in bulk because of a pricing error. They did it with the Call of Cthulhu and Castle of Shikigami pricing errors.

I've only been a part of one pricing error. It was with Games Republic for Civ 6 near it's release. They refunded everyone and went to revoke keys, but 2K basically said no they weren't going to revoke keys for them and everyone got the game for free.

That's pretty generous of them. Here's hoping they're just as generous once again.

From HB store itself right now - Season pass 1 is 12.49, Super Deluxe is 21.24 (less content than in Ultimate), Season pass 2 is 30. And that is with my sub discount ... do you still think they intended to price it this way?

Also, on grey market, you cannot get it under 30 euro + fees.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

This is fairly usual. Buying a game in parts is almost always going to be more expensive than picking up all the content at the same time. Somewhat annoying for people who acquire base games and decide they like them but then again this is most likely the intended strategy.

Also, on grey market, you cannot get it under 30 euro + fees.

It's not unusual for grey market prices to be higher than official store discounts.

That still does not explain Super Deluxe edition being more expensive within the same store (HB store).

Comment has been collapsed.

Explain? I just told you that this is fairly common. What kind of explanation are you expecting?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yup, that's why I grabbed it. Most likely the game isn't doing too great and they decided to be a bit more aggresive with pricing on the ultimate version.

Mafia is actually tempting but I suspect it's going to be bundled soon enough.

Would be interesting to see the ratio between Steam and Epic activations.

Games are back up with intended price. And if you managed to activate the key, it should not be revoked. Also keep in mind, these were not just Steam keys but also Epic keys.
