Alright - about 1/2 a day has passed. 9 entries and at least that many solves so far ..
Only two came forward, both Ukrainian as Steam suggests.
Westerners, amongst others, seem clueless for the moment - are there secret advantages for members of christian orthodoxies ?
Well, neither the Hellenic nor Russian people have stepped up yet, all seems quiet on the Balkans aswell, except for our venerable host ofc.

At least I found my way to some text to work with this time after I botched the initial conversion in the last one.

I am Ukrainian and I don't understand what is written there. Not even all the letters are familiar to me, not to mention the words. And actually I didn't try to translate, since it is not necessary for the solution.

hmm. I can find me 5 characters that don´t belong (they won´t work) + 1 character seems to be missing (might be pointing at the red herring) + another character seems to be hinted at (but unclear which version of it)
so either coherent logic doesn´t seem to work or I´m missing smtg obvious; - again

Thx. but as I said - I only have 5 characters of equal value + 2 obvious suspicions which may or may not symbolically mark a hint for this or that .. - too many permutations

I think we both are stuck on about the same thing. I can get the 6th as well, not sure about a 7th..
And i did try a few times.
I was having the same difficulty on the last puzzle which i haven't been able to solve, even now, for an identical reason

What 6 apples ? there are only 5 ! saw that mentioned before - how did you get to 6 ?

I think we share an equally strong curiosity, so I´ll try to give a summary of what has been said before here. To give a plain solution imo is the hosts prerogative & I already hope he´s not mad at me for all I posted sofar ..
Initial conversion of the data leads to a text. Inside the text five characters are hidden. Furthermore there are two abnormalities, one of them is a joke. Now use all the information given in the puzzle-thread & the text to bring your five characters in the right order.

Yeah I understand there is some translation that needs to occur on the 5 characters, I was asking now that the give is over to know the solution, you giving me clues I already know is not helping :) , nor do I care to solve it now. Thanks for trying.
