While ago I won Portal in your perpetual gifting initiative. Played the game, had a blast, bought Portal II, had a second blast. Played both games together with my daughter (Fist part as hot seat, second in MP) and we had some of our best father-daughter moments.
I am still extremely thankful for introducing me to this game.
Bump.

That's a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing, it's the sort of thing that makes all the gifting worthwhile!

You might consider trying Portal Stories: Mel it is free for all Portal II owners, has a unique story, okay voice acting (of course not valve level) and a notch harder puzzles than the base game (took me about 12 hours to finish) which is perfect for the two heads working together approach you mentioned.
You do not need to have portal 2 installed to play this.

Many thanks for this suggestion, we will give the game a try. Happy Holidays!

Slightly pathetic self bump. Hey, it's only until Christmas.

The puzzle game you found looks quite intriguing.
Merry Christmas!

Every time the Portal series is on sale*, I chip in with some GAs of them until everyone on Steam owns them. So far, despite this being the 19th time that I do this, it seems there are still people out there who don't have them. I know, right?
As always, I've also taken a dive into the ever growing pile of puzzle games on Steam to get something for people who's appetite for portals has already been sated. I hope it takes your fancy.
*: not the Halloween sale, because that one was way too short. And also too close to this one.
