[Steam] Besiege (90% off | $1.49 | New HL)

They're not useless to me, granted, I own many of the games from these threads but I have found a couple of good offers on this sale that I already have in my cart (Hoversteppers, STEINS;GATE, Psycholog...) so I'm grateful to the users making them.

Maybe I'd prefer a single thread with the best deals from this sale, as I remember from before, but I haven't seen that one has been created this time. There's a "What did you buy? How much did you spend? [Summer Sale 2025 Edition]" thread but it's not the same as a pure deals thread.It''s still good to find some hidden jewels, though.

Useless. If you look closely, then besides one general topic (that does not work very well), there are several others - with cheap exactly bundles, or with NSFW games, or some interesting underdogs that are not mentioned anywhere else, or the topic of who bought what (which is more important than just someone seeing something somewhere) - and these are interesting topics. But topics with literally the first game in the most prominent place of the main page in Steam with a big purple frame "megasale" around it - this is lazy and unnecessary for anyone at all.

Yep! I found the thread I was looking for for (created by MeguminShiro, of course 😊). The title was a bit misleading and I thought it was only for the free stickers.

Now I do I agree that it would be better to have all the deals for this sale under a same thread, in this case, the one I linked above.👍

i agree that it would be good to have a big thread with all the best deals, but that's not so easy to do and even to find all the deals
but also i think theres a good thing in individual games like this, it's easier to see a game you weren't thinking of but is on your WL just by browsing the titles, and also it "should" get buried quickly after most people interested got it XD so it's not that spammy

i got many good deals from other people cause they were just there at the end of the page and i saw the name and remembered, without looking for them

In the past sales there was always a big thread were people would put the deals they had found, or what they had bought. We have two separate threads this time (3-4 if you count the NSFW and the cheap bundles ones). MeguminShiro was doing it but I didn't notice because of the title, I thought it was only for the free stickers.Following it now and it has good recommendations.

Another good thread is What did you buy? How much did you spend? [Summer Sale 2025 Edition] in the "General" section, not all are deals but there are lots of nice finds there.

I think that's more a problem, I have sometimes missed a deal because of this 😬 As you say, if people don't bump the thread (usually by saying thank you) it gets buried quite fast and there's a good chance it will go unnoticed.

Anyway, I'm good either way. When a sale is not running we usually have these separate threads for particular deals. During sales the tradition was to make a big thread with all deals. Both are good if I'm getting a nice deal in the end 😊

Usually i prefer to respond to a big thread but i hadn't seen any, and lots of ppl kept posting individual ones, so i followed what i seen.
The free stickers in the title do be misleading xD Megumin is always awesome, but a lot of ppl, me included, might be missing that there are deals inside
