So, I was browsing the local used ads and saw that someone was selling a left-handed Razer mouse for $55. I laughed at the ad, telling my brother that it'll never sell since left-handed mice are not very common... but it made me think, is it really that rare? How rare is it?

I'm a lefty myself, but since I've started using computers I've always been using a right-handed mouse and I'm used to it. I probably couldn't get used to left-handed even if I tried, it's just weird. It would cause lots of problems with my left hand as well since I'm used to the WASD controls.

Generally, which kind of mouse do you use? Left-handed or right-handed?

Right-handed mouse or left-handed mouse?

I'm ambidextrous and would love to use a lefty mouse (I usually use a neutral one and switch periodically). Especially when my right hand is inflamed.

But it's usually just too difficult to make things work as a lefty. For example at work and at school the mice physically cannot be switched around with the keyboards. Then to think hptkeys, gaming controls etc... Nope, too much work and I'm lazy! :D

No "both" option? I'm right-handed and mostly of the time I use the mouse in right-handed mode (because of my position and space on my desk), but when I can I switch to left-handed to rest my right arm and also to keep my left hand control in top shape... (:P)

My mouse can be used with both hands, but left hand use for me - got a basic Logitech M100, nothing fancy but quite sturdy

I'm a dominant right who uses right handed mouse, but oddly there are certain things in life I do lefty. For example hockey, I use a left handed stick, sure I have more power in my shots right handed, but going left gives me much more control, which has more benefits. Also baseball, I play both right and left when up to bat, it's good being able to do both, it can throw people off.

I use both, but I get a -4 penalty to attack rolls. Sigh, should have taken Two-Weapon Fighting instead of IMPROVED INITIATIVE.

Hmm, interesting. Are there some gamers who use a left handed mouse and use the right hand for the keyboard?
