yeah they're an official russian store. seems that you can easily buy through them with paypal, no vpn required. only issue is that they're obviously based in russia, so a lot of games will be region locked, but the list in the OP should all be region free. I bought DOOM Classic Complete and had no issues buying it or activating it in the US.

It's similar to Nuuvem, but for the russian market. I guess I don't find it all that funny. They clearly aren't set up to sell internationally, so I'm not sure if they're allowed to be selling keys outside of Russia (Nuuvem was also guilty of this at one point, but for South America/Brazil).. but if you're buying from Russia it's pretty legit.

I don't use Nuuvem, so can't make such comparison. Just there are like 10-20 sites like that one, where are such keys coming from? Very different sources, but always one thing is certain. It's not official representatives or official publishers. That's gray market.

Some of the prices in the current Steam sale are around the same or even cheaper than using the Yuplay. I didn't check them all but Return to Castle Wolfenstein is $2.03 on Yuplay after conversion, but only $1.24 right now directly from Steam. Wolfenstein 3D is $1.12 on Yuplay and $1.24 on Steam. A little Cheaper, but I think I would pay the 12 cents.

They both are run locked for Germany, so you will need to use VPN for playing too.

It might be worth to mention that the run lock will disappear after three months, meaning that you can play the games without the use of a VPN afterwards. Until then, as PraX has said, the Wolfenstein games are not only activation locked but also run locked.

As far as I know, you don't need to let the games sit in your library untouched. You can play the game via VPN and it will not affect the three months timespan, i.e. if you buy the game now and play it via VPN in the following months, it will still unlock by the end of March.
This won't help you if you're considering buying the games right now, but I (= German) have a ROW version of Wolfenstein: The New Order, which should lose its run lock by the end of January, in my account - I could then tell you whether it works. Bought and activated it without any problems while living in Canada. Game is installable in Canada but not installable in Germany.

While it previously gave me an error each time I tried to install the game, it's now working without any problems.

There is one small nuance...sales from Steam, Uplay, EpicShop, Origin, Blizzard Battle.net,GOG и BethesdaShop and others are estimated at billions of rubles(I am now talking about sales that are subject to 20% tax), and sales of small sites hundreds of thousands, respectively, 20% of taxes from Steam is much more "sponsoring war" than small shops.
