My favorite is episode 5, but I had no Idea most of the SG users shared this thought! Good to know!
Also, can someone give me a good unbiased opinion on the new episode? One of my friends swears it's great, but he is a full fanboy. The others say it's a too hyped meh experience, almost copying the plot of ep 4. Who should I trust?

If you like the original trilogy The Force Awakens will entertain you :) They kept it quite 'conservative' and did a lot to please fans of the first three movies, but it's really well made.
