I'm getting confused as of why I keep getting invites to join the group chat from friends, then I'm getting kicked or chased away. Is it some kind of inside joke or prank to invite random people in the chat? :x

It's because group members are allowed (and encouraged) to abuse their privileges (over other group members and random joiners, not people that get invited), and everyone in the group is a moderator or higher (newbies get their stars when I feel like it, not right away).
