It depends on what you want. Craft many lvl1 badges if you want to collect them, or craft a badge of your favorite game as many times as you can to increase its level.

There's is nothing "worth" about crafting badges, it doesn't give any superpowers (sadly) or in-game benefits, it is purely cosmetic.

Badges are only cosmetic and crafting only gives emoticons/backgrounds, so whether to craft any at all is completely up to you :P

In my opinion, the only point of making badges in the first place is leveling up and having something to show. Thus, lvl 5 badges are the only ones that make any sense. Just my opinion.
