I just looked it up for Dark Souls 1, but you need a specific mod, dsfix. With dsfix installed right ctrl disables it.

Also, not entirely sure what is considered as fighting. It's hard to capture it in one picture, but here goes nothing! I'm pretty sure like 80% of these don't fit the theme.
