Good luck. I downloaded it earlier yesterday and it was nothing but a title screen sim game. No matter what button I hit it would just reload the title screen.
Uninstalled after frustration. I shouldn't have because now it won't redownload at all. Stupid error.Starting to REALLY hate the M$ store. Not as much as I hate the Epic store, though.

It wasn't ready to play yesterday. You couldn't play it till 5am PST on 05/27/2020. They only had it available to preload the day before

That sucks that you got that. I was reading some stuff about how some people are having problems. I luckily didn't get the issue. Well.. I downloaded it and tried to play it. Seems like the Developers doesnt want me to.
It's a hard time to convince the launcher to start the game due some privilege issues made by Windows store...
After that put aside I have now the AntiCeat kicked in with an unexpected Error NP1013.
I've found a Boss before I even reached the Main screen 😂😅🤪🤯😡

I'm sorry but this is dumb thinking. Just because a game isn't on Steam or Epic doesn't mean it's a bad game. There are a lot of other good games not on either of those platforms. Being on one of those storefronts just means more notice and possibly more sales and players. Steam has a fair amount of trash games on the store. Thousands of asset flip, hentai puzzle, bad porn games that just take up to much of the store.

I respect that. If you never cared for the game much you might not like it now. The thing with them fixing the problem is it’s only been a little over 24 hours since it released. Now if they don’t have the issue fixed within a week it could be a big issue. This also isn’t the only game that had big issues when it came out. Hopefully they fix the issue quick for people who want to try the game.

Looks like it doesn't have a release for the UK yet. When looking it up there does seem to be workarounds but didn't watch them so not sure if it is even worth it.

Phantasy Star Online 2 just released today on PC in North America. If you log in today they give you a little goodies bag of stuff for the game like camos and boosters. They are also giving +50% XP and +50% loot rate drop on all quests till June 2nd. It is f2p and you do have to download it from the Microsoft Store to play it. If you have an Xbox it also features play anywhere so it has cross-platform and cross-progression.
