How much did you spend?
Just bought these ones, about 17-18 games for $20.15 . I was tempted to buy games from Far Cry franchise but it seems like this wasn't the best offer we had comparing to the last year.

Likely (next to) nothing on Steam, except for something like Railgrade or such. Many discounts are just meh. E.g. Cities: Skylines II and Baldur's Gate 3 - both released in 2023. The discounts, -20%.
But... looking at what XBox Pass has included these days, it looks quite nice. Like:
Expedition 33, TESIV: Oblivion Remastered. Final Fantasy XVI, Starfield, Atomfall, Doom: The Dark Ages, Frostpunk 2, Diablo IV, Stalker 2, Cities: Skylines II, The Alters
Bought individually on Steam right now, that would be around 455 Euro here. But at about the price of Humble Choice, plenty of stuff to check out. At least half of that I may be playing only an evening or two anyhow, and if something gets me hooked, might pick it up at next sale (it shouldn't make a difference, for saves, if launched via Xbox- or Steam-client).

This sale has many games on my wishlist reduced > 80%. At the Moment i have only buyed
Beyond: Two Souls -90%

Well, in the current state of the gaming industry where prices are going up and quality is going down, I guess it is more frustration than happiness unless you're buying old games long in the wishlist with deep discounts... yes, it is a bit hard to ignore some historical low prices there, but with the oversaturated markets, I've convinced myself that there'll be better HLs... :)

I bought Triangle Strategy!
Looking forward to playing that!

So far I got nothing and don't think that will change, just not many discounts that are better then last time so see no real reason to buy it now!
Who knows, maybe I cave and buy something but I didn't buy anything during Summer and Winter sale for a few years now...

I bought a game called Fledgling Manor for just under 6 euros, though I got it for around 2 euros since I had some card money in my wallet. I enjoyed it a lot. It's about a guy who gets turned into a vampire and then immediately forced to compete on a vampire reality tv show.
Tbh I'm not sure if I'll get anything else, most of the games I'm most interested in right now only came out in the last year or so, so they haven't gotten a significant discount yet. (and even some of the ones I'm interested in that have been out 2 or 3 years now haven't gotten big discounts yet...)
I'm thinking of getting Assassin's Creed 2 though since I've been learning Italian and it has italian voice acting....but I've heard lately there's been issues with Ubisoft breaking the game so it makes me a bit cautious about it...

I'm absolutely broke and dangerously close to a depressive episode, so I've decided to party hard, yeah. My justification is that hopefully this will help me return to work.
Bought for myself (as always, almost exclusively adventure games):
Received as a part of Discord Summer Secret Santa:
Gifted during the same event:

Nice choices!
Have you seen the Prologue to Castle Of Secrets?

Nope, is it an actual separate prologue or just a part of the main game?

I stumbled over it by accident, so I haven't played it by myself. But the store page states, that it's a tutorial level and two complete levels.plus a minigame.
In the discussions, someone says, that it seems to be a demo, consisting of an early beta version of the game.

I mean, that's a great list of bangers, so I imagine your plan will work.

Well, don't know about other events, but this stuff tends to happen. Each of us does get a single chosen recipient, but the whole secret Santa game inevitably ends with participants just throwing gifts ("snowballs") at each other. And that's downright euphoric.

I spent $8.50 and got BALLYGON, Super Kiwi 64, and Lunistice

It's not really the concept that made me buy it but the reviews and the fact that I loved Unsorted Horror

Neko Miko, its discount the same as has been for the past 5 years... so likely never to be cheaper, needed to spend ~$4 more to get another card so went ahead and grabbed for more cat girls.
so that is $7.98+ sales tax spent on myself... more spent on gifts... am I doing it right?

The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases from other stores, sales, gifts to others, or purchases for other systems besides Steam/PC.
