Spent 8.75 usd or so on myself, 14 on a giveaway... all were to build out collections from devs I appreciate. Also got Summer Games Done Quick 2025 on HB and a primo thing for Pantaloon this month, and continued to burn down some xbox store credit I had cashed in rewards points for. Gotta love buying games on years when you're not buying hardware :D

  • Titan Souls (Game the dev did before deaths door)
  • Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (Game the dev did before Guacamelee)
  • Swordship
  • Nimbus (Game the dev did before Snakebird)

I'll break a sale tradition from recent years: This time there'll be no Truck Simulator parity between us, with us buying the same DLC bundles. I'm sorry. 🥺

But I was so close to buy Cyber Knights: Flashpoint too. I very very rarely play anything on my phone but Star Traders: Frontiers has been with me for many years now. So good.

Cyber Knights is pretty cool. But given how the Trese Brothers operate, you could buy it a year or two from now and it would still be getting new content, so I think there is no real hurry.

To be honest, I didn't even think I would buy so many games, I had plans for 1-2.
Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy - I remember the old original games perfectly, so I was always curious how the remake was made. It was the oldest game added to the wishlist, so the -90% discount decided the question of whether to buy or not to buy right away..
STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II: Celebration Edition - I have long planned to buy this game when EA makes a -90% discount, and it so happened that this time.
Zeno Clash - I played the second game, it was a very strange, but very interesting game for me (not everyone is ready for it yet!), so I had plans to return and finish the first one someday, especially since the plot of this game is directly related to the sequel. Less than a buck - hello, dear, in the library.
Blood: Fresh Supply + Blood 2 - very, very, very many years ago, back in the days of DOS, I once played this game. Then I was very impressed by the number and variety of weapons, their strangeness and effects. In the DOOM everything was simple - a pistol, a shotgun, a machine gun, a bit of futuristic weaponry, but here everything was very different from the usual weapons. Since then I have never played this game again. I saw that two games in a set would be released for only 2 dollars, so I took it and caught up with the one I missed.
RoboCop: Rogue City - everyone is very praising it, I love the RoboCop movies, I played the previous game from this developer, and I saw how they, although a little ineptly, but very diligently and very carefully treat the world of the franchise, so they know how to do it right. So -90% is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the game a little later. Especially when I noticed that the addition will not be as DLC (which then -90% will never be), but as a separate game, which is way better.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts + Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 - I played all four previous games, and each time I liked them more and more, so I will be interested in continuing my acquaintance with the series, and the discount on the two-game pack is simply great.

Got a bunch of small games. Used up my wallet credit.
All less than €40

A few are windows games that I wanted to try like "The Room", but I figure that the price made them low risk in case they don't work in whisky/wine. If it runs, I'll probably get the other games some other time.

A few headliners in there, but also a lot of cheaper games and bundle games I missed that looked good to me. Used to buy loads of bundles and games in general but have been quiet on that front for a few years now other than Humble Choice.

Also picked up these cheaply from Indie Gala:
XIII - Classic
Arise: A simple Story
IS Defense

Bought a key for Dying Light too, looks like it was free some time? Never played it, and a key for The Last Campfire too.

A very nice selection. For all those interested in Boris and the Dark Survival: This game will be discontinued - eventually removed, when Bendy: Lone Wolf is released (15th of Augist 2025). And owners of the Boris game will receive a free key of Bendy: Lone Wolf.

Not played the Bendy games yet, but do have Dark Revival from a Humble Choice.Basically went to SteamDB filtered 50% off or more, 80%+ positive raings and under £5 GBP and the Boris game popped up. Thought the art style looked really good from watching the trailer so picked it up.

I went with Red Dead Redemption 2, so less than 25$.
And to be honest, I still don't know if I really like the game or not. It's kinda slow and clunky. I've already installed some mods. I must have played a good 10 hours, but I feel like I've hardly accomplished anything. Graphics are pretty though.

I tried to grab Emerald Coast Australia, a DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild from Fanatical yesterday, but couldn't checkout. Support said they ran out of keys, yet it's still on sale and nothing indicates the DLC isn't available anymore. I think it's the cheapest the DLC has ever been so it was a tad disappointing.

That's really strange. They ran out of keys like... they can't generate more after the sale?
If Steam also starts using the out of stock excuse so that people don't get good deals, we're screwed.

Comment has been collapsed.

But it wasn't Steam though, it was Fanatical I was trying to buy from. They certainly received a batch from the publisher and ran out of those. It doesn't look like they tried to ask for more keys, sadly... The DLC still shows up and I tried to purchase it again today but alas, I got the same error message.

Ah then it makes more sense. Fanatical and other resellers are at the mercy of Steam when it comes to the number of generated keys they have access to.
Shame. it's a really cool game and most of the DLC are brilliant.

Now, it's 60% off at Green Man Gaming, if you are XP member, or 50% off without XP.

You can't? O_o It's weird because I can still see it on sale with less than 24 hours to go. And it's also showing up on gg.deals. Anyway it's 3.86$ CAD which amounts to about 2.49$ USD. I'm wondering if it's not a pricing error... the regular price for the DLC on Fanatical is 8.99$ CAD, while on Steam it's 10.49$.

Bought Unravel, Gibbon: Beyond the Trees, Naiad, The Pedestrian and Neva for my sister (she just played Gris and loved it)

And a couple of kids games for my nephews and niece.

All in all, I spent around 60 bucks plus some wallet I had leftover from sales cards and such.

🤣 well we're twins. What can I say?

My gf buys her own games so I just try to surprise her with games not on her wishlist that she will enjoy.
My sister on the other hand is not a gamer and she only recently discovered she really liked platformers. Her library is empty of those and I don't have many to share because I suck at them so I was trying to give her a sampling.

Just don't tell them ok? 😅😉

Bunch of randoms:
The Cursed Crusade
Besiege (Fumble bundle discount)

Little Nightmares II
Embracelet
Flashout 3
Date Night Bowling
Supermoves
Star Wars Battlefront II (not sure if this was technically part of the sale)
Total of about $30
[Was also considering a few others, including Tobla, but thought better of it. Will likely get it next big sale.]

Death's Door
The Medium
Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara

I heard that later on there's a particular section called "puberty" which might get kinda annoying. Ap-parent-ly the controls are wonky and unreliable in that part. But they say it's worth it to fight your way through that.

Schedule I | i had to wait to decide between it and outlast trials, more friends bought this, so i went with it, it feels like supermarket simulator but the dev decided to put a price tag on it instead of hoping that people would buy the cosmetic dlc to support them, smart ngl lol.
RoboCop: Rogue City Alex Murphy Edition | been on my wishlist since release, so im glad it got a very good sale + i upgraded my pc recently so i can enjoy it without performance issues
Force Reboot | i dont remember this game tbh, it was on my steamdb watchlist for a while and i 100% forgot when and why it was there, but it was pretty cheap, so i got it.
I'm on Observation Duty | after the FNAF dlc for DBD i remembered this game after so many years and decided it's finally time to get it.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy | also been on my wishlist for years, then it got bundled, then it got really cheap, so why not, specially that i haven't been buying many games lately.
Cats Hidden in Georgia | my dose of 100 hidden cats, gotta find them all.
West of Loathing + DLC dont know much about this game tbh, i had no internet to check it during the sale, but i heard good things about it and it had good reviews, so why not.?

i still regret buying over a thousand games that i dont care about in a bit over a year just to have a bigger library, so im slowly moving them to the private games section to make my library look nicer and reflect what i actually like/might like, and trying to be careful with my purchases and not over do it.

Overall quite a bit this time. Usually I dont do much since steam sales have been going bit "woah -30% sale omg" lately as opposed to other sites. First days I did have bit of lackluster feeling looking at wishlist being mostly -30% or -50%

Bought for myself (ill add prices later or if someone cares):

Detention - "atmospheric horror game set in 1960s Taiwan under martial law"
Detective Grimoire - Point&Click a bit of "hidden object" detective game with full voice-acting and good story.
Tooth and Tail - RTS "Lead the revolution with an army of flamethrowing Boars, mustard gas-lobbing Skunks, and paratrooper-puking Owls."
Cavern of dreams - N64-style 3D platformer. Tried to win it during choice month but no luck ^^
Eternal Strands - 19.99e "biggest purchase" - I would say its mix of Zelda, Shadow of colossus, Monster hunter. Tried it on gamepass and wanted to buy it. Really love the interactivity of spells and stuff (like being able to make bridges with ice spell). And its from former Bioware and Ubisoft devs - in good way mind you =)
D3AD HAND - Point and click game set in soviet bunker, saw recommendation by youtuber ("lucasarts game meets dr. strangelove")

Got gifted
Bejeweled 3 - Fun thing being, when I got this and played for while all of sudden my activity feed on steam has people buying this and other popcap games. I wonder if theres connection.
Hylics - as one curator put it: "Take LSD-induced cartoons from the '60 and mix them with JRPG allegory, you'll get this 2-hours long surreal mind trip"
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale - No idea.

Gifted to someone:
Tangle tower - Detective Grimoires 2nd game, another point&click "sorta hidden object" game with great story, good voiceactors, nice art. Played thro it when it came via itch bundle.
