I love achievements too.
When I complete 100% of the achievements, it feels like I’ve fully enjoyed all the content the developers created.
It’s kind of like the satisfaction of finishing a meal without leaving anything behind. Plus, I love how achievements remain as a record of my experiences, like photos taken during a trip.
The games I’ve fully completed, despite the challenges, are Library Of Ruina and Viscera Cleanup Detail.
And thank you so much for all the wonderful giveaways. I hope you have an amazing journey ahead!

Doing my best here to 100% all the game I played, sometimes it makes it very hard to start one knowing it will take a long grind for 100% but really want to play that game. Slowly working on FF7R right now as my single player game to 100%, recently started peak with a friend hopefully I can get that to 100%. On steam deck doing some easy VNs, even the questionable ones, since those are very easy to 100%. Many times I just want to move on to the next game when I already spent too much time on it or burned out but still stuck with it getting that 100% and also doesn’t help when I have a large backlog.

Good luck on your endeavor! 100%ing games is one of my favorite parts of playing games 😀
You should join 100% Achievements Group if you ever need help getting multiplayer achievements!

100% Card City Nights
The game has only 8 achievements but they are not exactly easy to get, it is a pretty fun indie game though :)

I haven't ever hit 100% achievements on any Steam game. I will occasionally play and target some rare achievement, but mostly I just finish a game and move on to another one. Or a lot of my collection is digital board games, so each play through is just an hour or so, and it often comes down to a choice between winning the game or getting an achievement. Oh well.
Thanks for the giveaways, and congratulations on your accomplishments!

When I got into VR around 2017 I really liked Skyrim VR. It had been 6 years since I played it on release and I had put 200h into it then, but I wasn't an achievement hunter then. I not only went for 100% achievements but also wanted to more fully explore all the Points of Interest on the map, so I printed out the map of Skyrim with PoIs on 9 pieces of printer paper and taped them together and used a sharpie to mark them off once I had cleared them. I still have the monstrosity on my wall just to my left with each location crossed off, and several other lists and maps with markings added to it.
I've been able to get a lot less obsessive about 100%ing games, and now I reserve it for games I really like. 100%ing a game is a prize I give only to those games that deserve it.

i'm also somewhat an achievement hunter myself (mostly ez game tho)
slow progress tho but it's there
hardest one for me to get 100% was Dynasty Warrior 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition
not only i have to start over from 0 (since it doesn't support steam cloud), i also do unnecessary things in that game like collecting 5star weapon for all char(no achievement for this)..
but i have fun for the whole game, also stressed but it's fun in the end..
also i hate how they don't show full achievement and gametime for family share games in perfect games page..
in progress to perfect game right now (if i have spare time) : Legend of mana, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
and i still have like 75-ish game left in waiting list after i finished that 2..

There was a time when SG itself had achievements. Though unofficial

Sadly it hasn't been active for quite a while.

If you like stats about the games you play and try to 100%, I recommend taking a look at completionist.me

And I can recommend steamhunters.com which introduce points system for achievements and leaderboards and many other stuff.

I use https://metagamerscore.com/ for the same purpose. It allows to see Steam, PS, XBox and GOG achievements in one place.

I only try to platinum games if I really like them or if it's kinda trivial, I'm not skilled enough for "heat 5 all debuffs time mode no hit" achievements :,)

Awesome idea! I always try to get 100% achievs myself as well but sometimes it's just too time consuming. Good luck to you in future games!
Thanks a lot for all the giveaways!

Hi, thanks for all these giveaways, and what could be better than completing games with 100 percent achievements, this is my favorite activity)

I'm always impressed by those who decide to tackle the daunting task of completing everything they play, to me it seems like a quick way to suck the fun out of some games since some require to continue playing way past the point where it stops being fun or rewarding. But to each their own. I personally stick to only 100%-ing those titles who have reasonable achievements that only require to invest a bit extra time and effort after finishing them, I once realized that in order to get the final achievement of a game I'd need to replay it from the start because I had missed the chance to get it and just noped out of that task immediately even tho I liked that game up to that point.
But my respect goes to you, you mad lad.

I wouldn't do that otherwise with +1800 games i would never find the time to finish games. So no, unless a specific achievement makes me discover a game very differently, for example the pacifist success of deus ex, i wouldn't chase after it.
Still congratz for your achievements and your project, it's quite an epic you're embarking on !

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a personal milestone with the community, I decided to become an Achievement Hunter! My goal going forward is to fully complete games, enjoy them to the fullest, and unlock 100% of their achievements. And to celebrate this shift in how I play games, I have decided to give back to this community that shares my love for gaming. Maybe just to add a small info, mostly i play games on consoles the first time without hunting in mind and afterwards if I play them on Steam again, i will care about achievments.
For every game I finish to 100% completion, I will be giving away a game. So far, I’ve completed 53 games...so today, there will be 53 giveaways!
A Little Disclaimer:
Yes, some of these 53 were shovelware or very easy games, dont be fooled by the number. But recently, I have taken this journey more seriously and started to play more challenging and meaningful titles like:Batman: Arkham Asylum, Bioshock, Abyss Odyssey, Agony, Ys Origin, Dead by Daylight, Planet Zoo
Extra Spice:
To make it more fun, I will be rating each game I completed on a difficulty scale from 1 to 10 (purely my personal take, dont take it too seriously!!!). The harder the game, the higher the entry level requirement for the giveaway. For example:
A 0/10 game might be open to everyone (you will see there are some 0. Its basically just starting the game)
A 10/10 game might require level 10 to enter.
This is just a fun way to mix things up and encourage myself, and maybe others, to take on bigger challenges and enjoy games more different.
I hope some of these giveaways bring joy to your library, just like these games brought joy (and occasional frustration, i cant deny that) to mine.
Tell me about your 100% Stories, if you doing the same thing or had just one game you wanted to finish to 100%
