So in this scenario, which one do you go with?
Trader 1 - +60 rep, no negs, looks solid, offers a game for 2 keys
Trader 2 - +300 rep, no negs, "legend", offers the same game for 2 keys and 2 ref
I think TheDopefish would go with the first guy. I would too. Would you consider going with the second guy instead? I'm just curious.
None of us would go with:
Trader 3, +2 rep, 1 neg, offers the same game for 4 ref. :p

Depends on which one I see first If I see the first one first and then see the 2nd one, I would pick the 1st one. If the otherway around.. I would STILL pick the first one because I like the price. Cheapness before legends. XD

Trading only for some kind of badge "I've traded with that LEGENDARY trader" doesn't make much sense to me. But ofc it's your right to have such a hobby :)
And last but not least, what do you mean by "legend trader"? Who are the legends?

Like.. People i have see very very often around the forum, people to whom I have offered something, but they refused (+1 times) gives me a thing like.. I just HAVE to trade with that person.

When I was noob I also have seen some hundreds rep traders that always was offering the same than me, and obviously with better chances to get the deal. And thought would be awesome to get their rep on my first page, that would probably increase a lot my credibility. But probably is a noob thing, and may work with noobs, but once you have a lot of votes that doesn't matter.

I don't really have goals of trading with certain people, but I keep a couple trading thread bookmarked because of their wide selection of games and reliability when trading.
It's always a thrill when I can activate that new steam key successfully, haven't failed yet.

Is it just me or does everyone have trading "people goals"? For example, I really want to trade with certain people.. I would comment on their thread, but it would never be a good enough offer. So, they end up on the list of "PEOPLE I WANT TO TRADE WITH!" I have gotten a few of those people checked off my list, but in my mind they are like.. LEGENDS. i would get so excited if they actually accepted my offers, especially if they had turned down a bunch of people before them. I would usually browse other peoples reps and i would do a little "GASP! THEY HAVE LESS REP THAN ME, BUT THEY GOT ONE OF THE LEGENDS!!!!!" kinda thing.
This is silly i know, but is this just me?
