Yeah, but they take time to get removed.
So, low-lives take the chance to "fool" the system ._.
Edit: Their levels will drop after the removal of the game I think

Not only will the CV be retroactively fixed, most of them will face penalties since they violated site rules.
The rest of us can then enjoy extra points while it lasts, since those are AFAIK never revoked :D

They get CV unless their giveaways are deleted.

They won't, since it's retroactively fixed. If you've created giveaway after it was given for free, you'll lose the CV. It's just that it takes time for mods to actually add the game to the removed list.

That's not from what I see though. It's just removed from the giveaway list, the game still has a value.

Well I could have sworn that, that's how it was working, but maybe it's different in this case, because some people are saying giveaway is limited to like 1000 or so copies of it. So maybe they've just removed it temporarily to stop the flooding.

Edit: it doesn't even seem to be removed from the giveaway list, or were you reffering to any other game that is removed from the list ?

Yes, I was referring to a Commando Jack giveaway, group giveaway for 2 copies.

There was a huge flood of Marine Sharpshooter II: Jungle Warfare 3 months ago because it was left up for more than an hour, maybe you can check if you happen to catch one.

And for OP, not all games that were given free are removed:
Pajama Sam
RATZ Instagib, second time
Playfire sign-up rewards

Might have to do with how much they are exploited here, Playfire rewards are the exceptions although Vanguard Princess was later removed.

Generally speaking, when a giveaway is deleted, the CV received for it also disappears. The winner still gets to keep the (free) game, however, and the creator gets to keep the mark on his or her record (and the loss of the slot). As far as I know, that is how it works.

You mean because there weren't much copies given away?
They do remove them usually, like iBomber Defense Pacific and others which I don't remember :v

I don't think one should call them low-lives. I mean, there's people who haven't heard that sky mercs (or free games in general) are free, and then there's people (like me) who don't wanna go through the process of making an alienware-crap-account for a free game like that lol. So I kinda am thankful for these GAs. If you don't like it, you always have the option to filter the games (which works totally fine, I've got 2600 games on that list lol)

If I understand it correctly, it's free for 1000 people a day. It's not free for everyone all the time. It's a 1000-copy giveaway. There have been larger giveaways than that here.

This one might not be removed since there are only 5000 keys being given away.
