You will get a steam key for Borderlands 2 if you buy the game. Check the steam page for borderlands 2. You will see the game is Steamplay, which means it will activate on both PC and Mac

Do you have some non-ASCII symbols in name?
For example ľ,š,č,ž,ý ... I do and my name is written in way, that ASCII symbols are uppercase and non-ASCII are lowercase, I entered it that way and it worked.

Yea, already have the game, but I'm also waiting for a complete DLC pack.
And I'm now 100% sure I will not pre-order a Bl 3...or buy it. >>
I hate this DLC policy, that has become standard with all popular franchise now.

How is the DLC policy (which I don't like myself btw) is affecting your experience of the main game? BL2 is imho a very enjoyable game, and for what it matters it's also an extremely long one to finish, and totally re-playable with a different character and online. Though I'd be curious to see a few of them, I never felt like I needed to buy a DLC. I guess I'll consider any BL3 will get out there, if my gear will be good enough:)

Yeah, I also enjoyed it quite awhile. +points at playtime+ x)
I'm just getting a bit frustrated how 1st day DLC and DLC for every minor detail become common recently, even with some Indie games.
Normally I also don't care about most DLC, but Bl and Bl 2 have quite a lot story DLC.
If you want to play a story DLC, but one of your friends doesn't have it and cant buy it at this time, he cant play with you.
It's a personal thing, that I won't support this any further, so I do the only thing I can do as a customer, I don't buy the product.
Maybe will also buy Bl 3 complete 2 years after release on steam Christmas sale +shrug+, but I don't plan to buy it for the full price, if they keep this up.
And yea, I also can't play with friends if I don't buy the game, that's right, haha. xD

How about keeping the DLC stuff in the actual game?
Sounds really far fetched, I think...
It's not that I don't want the added content, but I don't see the point, why I should support an anti-customer policy.
Most DLC could have easily been added to the main game.
