It has been some time since I last did this, but now I have time again to do another round.
If you never saw any of these threads, this is where I offer a game for those who have played a very similar game in the past and have an achievement showcase to prove it. mostly it is for sequels, and this time… it is essentially the same.

The game offered now is INSIDE, the functional sequel of LIMBO. Not only because they both have this pretentious all-caps naming convention that is only excusable from the Japanese, but because it is the same developer doing a similar puzzle platformer with similar difficulty and similar art style, still skipping on the storytelling parts, for the most time.

But people generally like LIMBO (it is a decent game for what it is), and it means they are bound to similarly like INSIDE as well.

And now, if you want INSIDE, you can prove how much you liked LIMBO by linking me your achievement page that shows you loved enough the game to properly finish it.
What I mean by that is I want to see the achievement called "DING!" unlocked before 2017-10-18 14:00 UTC (this October 18th 11 AM Eastern time for those Muricans who cannot read ISO time format). This is the achievement that indicates finding all the bonus golden eggs and using them to go through the game's actual last (hidden) level, which has probably the most memorable visual design in platformer history.
(And if you wonder why that achievement and not the last one, it is because the last achievement in LIMBO in my opinion is totally and utterly insane and borderline impossible.)

Once you do that, I will add you to my whitelist, upon which you will immediately see a giveaway running for INSIDE.

The giveaway runs until 2017-10-21 17:00 UTC, and I am accepting entries until 15:00 the same day.
Once the giveaway ends, as usual, I will empty my whitelist, so only apply if you actually lack INSIDE and want to enter a giveaway for it.

I will not respond to the applications, I will simply list everyone accepted here. If you cannot see your name (or the giveaway despite your name being here), write another message, I may have skipped or misclicked.

Added so far:
Calibr3, ACoelho, CapnJ, p4pergoat, ShawnTripleHHH, seNs666, DL4N8R, hero18, escollo, MANotorer, Zlia, CaptainMcCalvo, SubjectLambda, The0Warrior, Jack2Shepard, Notional, MasterBetty, ctype, Zauberjoe, Kaluguin, Migga, windows8hacker, uvatar, Spitfyr, FuriousOverlord, YouShouldFeel, ceildric, GToL, Yoriyari, Hudy, mojak, m0j, cicatrix, PicoMan, GANDR, DarkeMYSP, 3sunsgaming, Trahald, DontBeSilly, OwnedTN, Shad0WeN, BloodyRo, ExusOne, Dan6hell66, stalker121, Bertuccio, Bluuu, 3VIPER13, CheMan39, djmac, manuelpr039, Strauss, Chumicat, Ning, Solimoon, stranger49, CursedGenjik, Artyrogue, Licena, Sir9, Vilksar, Ethan, kaustral, x4mer, Fragy, radagast82, hatephis, xinaku

There's a hidden level? Well damn.

Yeah, there is a hidden area that serves as a sort of more difficult alternate route for part of the journey.

What the hell, I didn't even know about the bonus level!! Is it worth going back to the game? (I'm not entering btw, I've already played INSIDE)

a similar puzzle platformer with similar difficulty

I've heard complaints that it's easier and the puzzles are less intelligent. The game looks interesting to me, I really like the artstyle and unlike limbo theres no spiders so I can actually play it. Still its a puzzle platformer which I suck at so I've been hesitant to get it.

Limbo is one of ma favorite games! And so I would love to play INSIDE!
Here's my achievements list: http://steamcommunity.com/id/najpersklaka/stats/LIMBO/?tab=achievements
On October 28th it will be my 4th anniversary of achieving DING! on Steam :)

Well I have finished Limbo, but since I absolutely despise collectibles (particulary in puzzle-platformers), I never played that hidden level so I'm out. From your screenshot I can't say if it's either an interesting design choice or just a giant middle finger to the player. Considering the game's mediocre physics I'm leaning towards the latter :x

I knew that completing that Ding! achievement would pay off someday! 😎

Hey, Assassin's Creed sometimes changes the art sty- oh, hang on, you're talking about a different game. Nevermind!

Darn, I played LIMBO on Android so I don't have achievements to show for it! I am kind of tempted to play the game as fast as I can on Steam now though

I absolutely loved LIMBO and 100-percented it long before it was ever given free as seen here:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/shadowen/stats/LIMBO

Oh and the 45-minute full-game speedrun (my bad, was thinking of Braid's speedrun) "No Point in Dying" achievement is hardly impossible. I have done it multiple times. You just have to be well familiar with all of the puzzles and any troublesome ones can be practiced by skipping to specific chapters since the game has such a feature. I found it to be one of the more fun and rewarding achievements I have done and an achievement that is actually..... an achievement.

Anyway, thanks for this!

Limbo is the most overrated platformer I can think of. Completely average game.

Hmm, I got all 10 of the egg achievements, but don't have the Ding! achievement. Maybe they were from different playthroughs or something?
(I already have INSIDE, but was just checking and wondering.)

[Edit: Oh, I just looked it up. The Ding is at the end of the secret level, or on your way out I guess. I must have unlocked the secret level and didn't even know it.]

It was the only level I actually enjoyed in the game :)

That last achievement is the only one that beat me but I'll get it one day.

Oh, I had no idea there was an extra level. I love the game but assumed the collectibles were just that, collectibles. I blame useless collectibles in so many games. Even if I don't get to unlock the achievement in time, I wanted to say thanks.
