Fuck this. I'm not going to pre order like the other time.

i'm not sure it's about whether the games are worth $3 (even though it's nothing really) but it's for charity, So regardless, i've preordered anyway :)

this is true, i'd never really looked at it properly. But the Humble Bundles and the Indie Gala do

Yeah I ain't gonna pre-order this one, it was good they put the descriptions/hints this time but based on those I can only say maybe 1 or 2 of the games perk my interest, also I have no interest in a Christmas album, 8-bit or not.
I pre-ordered the last one and while I don't regret it, could've been better (though the bundle was worth it for Eufloria, and Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII too if I didn't already have CStW/BoD VII that is).

Like others here, I will wait to see if this one is any good. The last indie royale was very disappointing, the best thing from it was the album I got from preordering. I haven't even touched any of the games (except for Breath of Death 7, but I already owned that and Call of Cthulhu), but I hope they can restore my faith with this bundle.

IMO who the hell wants to pre-order a bundle when they have no fricking idea what it's going to be?
For game collectors such as myself, patience is a virtue. I recommend that everyone should wait.

I think if they made the pre-orders a tad more compelling like how the Humble Bundles used to 'surprise' people with additions later, it might make people want to pre-order more.
Unlike the Humble Bundles, the IndieRoyales seem to be immune to "Steam AppID Reveals" so there would be some actual anticipation for this.

My point was that they could use a better carrot to make pre-ordering more appealing.
Again similar to the old Humble Bundles a 'reveal' of an extra game only mid-way through the bundle, for those who pre-ordered would make people consider pre-ordering to be a viable option. Obviously you still have a risk aspect, but if the extra was compelling enough then people would probably pre-order more.
Right now an extra 8-bit OST is nice but I don't think it's a big enough carrot to compell people to pre-order something especially given the blinded nature of the games right now.

Not gonna do it, I might own the games...I owned Breath of Death VII/Cthulhu Saves the World from the last one and all the other games I was uninterested in...

Using your idea of guessing I might as well search the entirety of Steam and use a random number generator to pick 4 games. Unless you are tailoring your guesses to indie games they are as worthless as my hypothetical random number generated guesses.

Something tells me Skyrim and MW3 will be in it.
I guessed too. YOU WILL SEE! xD

for adventure it looks like it could be Blackwell and if its that's not a deal maker, fps is probably Zeno Clash, EYE: Divine Cybermancy, Nuclear Dawn or Dino D-Day and only one i have Zeno Clash and don't care about Nuclear Dawn or Dino D-Day, puzzle could be some of the Puzzle Agent and the likes and i also don't care for those and last one is not on steam and it's some sim game and i have no idea what it could be :). So far it makes a buy for me only if it's Eye: Divine Cybermancy and that's becouse it's only game that i would actualy play and don't already have.

I just hope they debut Toki as the adventure game. Not that chicken game, that ape game.

I had to look that up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toki_(video_game)
"A new, independent enhanced remake was announced in October 2009. It is developed by Golgoth Studio and will be released at the end of 2011 for PC on Steam and on home consoles XBLA, PlayStation Network, and WiiWare in early 2012."

Ah man, I used to play that one in the arcades decades ago. But I think it's considered a platformer.

Definitely not meh, I haven't played the first two, but Convergence and Deception are fantastic games if you're looking for something with an intriguing and well-written story.

I am sure its good but every time I try to play something like this for some reason I want to read a book...so I usually just do that.
Not sure why this happens...
