Game lagged to me too, even in single player, I put graphics on recommended and now it's working fine, but even like that in some maps fps is low but playable.

you forgot about downloading more RAM and VRAM, as well as placing the whole game on a RAMDISC after disabling superfetch

You should totally get Razer Firefly, you plug it in to the (last free) USB slot and it has pretty lights, makes your mouse better (actually scientifically proven by russian ornithologists) and easily doubles your FPS output, while also improving graphics! See?

Have you tried asking in the games discussion area on steam? They would know more there as there is more then likely more players there.
I have heard there are issues with the game since release, but I can't confirm anything as I don't have the game.

I have what I like to call a low mid-tier PC, with more RAM than your build (12GB) and I think a worse video card. It's an NVIDIA, you have an AMD, maybe that's a factor?
I had no issues running the game, played it to story mode completion flawlessly.

I get 60 fps here, 12 fps there. I also get this weird shading glitch. It's as if the shadows are glitching up.
Drivers are up to date.
PC can run BF4 at highish ultraish settings.
