Unless they've changed it, you can cancel your Amazon Prime subscription at any time and it'll still persist through the end of the one month period, even as a free trial. In some cases, cancelling a paid subscription will offer a partial or full refund for that month. If this occurs, I've the understanding that your benefits for the month will immediately cease instead of persisting through to the end of the month.

Generally speaking, the refund result would occur only if you haven't claimed any benefits and if you cancel within the first three days, though I believe some fringe circumstances also exist. In any case, you'll be given more information during the pause/cancel process, when those two options are provided to choose between, so you should be able to confirm what circumstances are available to you at that time.

I'm a bit unclear as to exactly what you're asking outside of that, or if it relates to free trials or paid subscriptions. As far as the games themselves go, Amazon Prime will provide new free games every month so long as you're an active subscriber (similar to Humble Choice).

the maps selected are base game only. Do note that some of these maps are boosted i.e. maps will be empty when you go in game even though it will show full in server browser. The game is totally playable.
