It's me or the 2017 origin client looks so modern and sophisticated, maybe it's time for a steam UI update?

the biggest problem with the current interface is that is too web-based, but I understand that changing it to non-web would require massive re-design every time a small pieces of a page is updated.

that's aside of the malfunctions of course
