Question about Spate graphics

So, there is only oen resolution ( 1024x smth) is there any way to add lower resolution from the config file which i couldnt find or its not possible?

1280x720 seems to be the lowest it can go, but maybe someone who is more tech-savvy can help.

Have you Tried, Command Line Parameters to force the game? Might work, if not i'll keep looking for a while longer to find more answers.

-w <width> or -width <width> - Forces the engine to start with resolution set to <width>. Ex: -w 1024
-h <height> or -height <height>- Forces the engine to start with resolution set to <height>. Ex: -h 768.
-window or -sw or -startwindowed or -windowed - Forces the engine to start in windowed mode.

yeah, i tried, but at the begining it pops up a window that shows only one resolution.. It doesnt start straight away

I've Scoured 3 Discussion with no real answer, and unfortunately i don't own the game otherwise i could of done some testing myself and perhaps solved it, if at all. So far i came up empty. Sorry i tried..

Edit: Perhaps, finding the games executable and go into properties and tick run in 640x480 Resolution? worth a try.

Edit: Nvm, it runs only the launcher at 640 lol :c

Damn, is there another executable, sometimes you get the launcher and then the game itself.

Grrrr, ok lets try one last thing, Nothing Found at My Documents?, most games like to store config files and saves there as well. And what effect does changing windows resolution to lower has?. I know this one is annoying and thought of very last as a desperate measure.

ah i tried searching in my documents> my games, nope .. Nothing.. changing to lower resolution = more fps for my shitty laptop :P

Damn that game lol.

Well I have one last idea but this is very difficult and perhaps risky, It involves going through Windows Registry. But since so many idea's already don't work, i doubt forcing registry would have any effect as well. which leaves us to believe that the developer had no intention of making it easy. otherwise we wouldn't still be here. Maybe when enough people complain something might happen in the future. Sorry couldn't be of more help. Wish you the best of luck.

Try regedit if you under windows generally this registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NameCompany\NameGame"
look for something like this>> Screenmanager Resolution Width_hnumbers - Screenmanager Resolution Height_hnumbers and edit with your custom resolution. :D

Edit: change from hexadecimal to decimal to set resolution.

was going to mention that. lol as a very very last resort.

EDIT: that info actually came from another game discussion. Read through it and see if you find anything useful
