This... reminds me of .Hack//GU a bit. Not sure if it's a good thing or bad, because I never played that.

I can't create a giveaway for it on SG, so I'll make a forum giveaway.
Data Hacker - Initiation is a 2D RPG (created in RPG Maker) set in the future about an MMORPG player banned from the game who hacks his way back in and over the course of playing it discovers what truly goes on behind the game. This is the first game in a planned trilogy.
To enter, post on this thread that you're in. In a couple of days I will announce a winner, contact the winner through Steam and provide the Desura key.
Some images from the game: 1 2 3 4 5 6
The developer is currently running a Kickstarter project for another RPG, Fantasyche: Mike, a game about a guy dealing with depression who escapes in his mind to a fantasy world, and the game takes place in both the real world and that fantasy world. Interesting stuff. (And there's a demo, so check it out.)
The new winner is BronzePage (after tomsta123 failed to respond). Congratulations.
(And no "thanks for Skyrim" or similar comment? I'm disappointed, people.)
